🐴 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗪... 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗨𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗦𝗔𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗪 𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗦𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗚. 🔥
This 2026 c**t by 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 and out of 𝗖𝗼𝘄𝗯𝗼𝘆𝘀 𝗠𝗦 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝟬𝟭𝟯 isn't just carrying some serious names on his papers. Quarternicks ran the cross through its pedigree analysis, and what came back is worth paying attention to. 👀

The cross earned an overall 𝗔- 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝟴𝟱.𝟭/𝟭𝟬𝟬, including an 𝗔 for performance potential at 89.8. Its strongest discipline fit was 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝘄 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲 at 82.8, followed by strong projections for calf roping, breakaway roping, reining and team roping. 🐮

In Quarternicks' comparison against proven roping money earners, this c**t's pedigree and trait profile showed approximately 95% similarity to horses including 𝗞𝗥 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗭𝗮𝗰𝗸 ($774,614), 𝗛𝗲𝘇𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗰𝗸𝘆𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗳𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗻 ($477,660), 𝗦𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 ($373,158), 𝗖𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗻 ($260,635) and 𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗦 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘄𝗸 ($267,420). 🧬💰

His sire has already done the job himself. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 earned his AQHA Open Performance ROM and $3,175. In 2022, he was the AQHA World Junior Tie-Down Roping Level 2 Open Reserve Champion, AQHA High Point Junior Tie-Down Roping Leader, AQHA High Point Open Tie-Down Roping Stallion Leader and an AQHA World Junior Tie-Down Roping finalist. 🏆

That mare on the bottom of the pedigree with no LTE beside her name? 🤔 Don't be so quick to dismiss her.

📊 Quarternicks currently has approximately 200,000 horses in its pedigree database. Among the 209 mares in that database with $500,000 or more in progeny earnings, 90 of them, or 43%, never earned a dollar themselves.

🔥 Even more interesting, 60 of those mares have neither LTE nor a show record.

𝐇𝐨𝐭 𝐍 𝐁𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐲 is a 2024 red roan filly by 𝐒𝐑 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐭 and out of 𝐁𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐲 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐧, with Metallic Cat and Spots Hot behind her, and she's 6-panel N/N.

Below is a comparison of money earners who have pedigrees structured similarly to this filly. Note that "structure" refers to the patterns to elite ancestors, not that the pedigrees have the same exact horses.

What we like about this mare isn't difficult to explain, nor does it require dressing her up with predictions she hasn't had the opportunity to earn. She's an athletic, well-made young mare who has been willing and straightforward to handle, and now that she's at the c**t starter, we're interested in seeing how those qualities translate under saddle.

Her pedigree certainly gives her the credentials to interest a performance home, but we wouldn't narrow her future unnecessarily when she has the type and athletic ability to make several directions reasonable. We can readily see her being developed for roping, cow horse or ranch versatility, although the better horsemen will evaluate what's in front of them and allow the mare herself to have some say in where she ultimately excels.

At this stage, that's really what you're buying: a young mare with quality, useful blood, athletic ability and enough versatility that you don't have to force her into a predetermined job simply because somebody needed a tidy sentence for a sales ad.
