Halloween candy bowls are irresistible... to your dog too. Chocolate, xylitol, and raisins are toxic to pets, even in small amounts. If your pet gets into the candy stash, don't wait it out, call us right away. We'd rather see you for a precaution than a crisis.

"My pet seems totally fine, do they really need a yearly exam?"

We hear this a lot, and it's a fair question. Here's the honest answer:

Pets age 5-7x faster than humans. A lot can change in 12 months — weight shifts, early organ changes, dental progression, joint stiffness. Most of these don't show obvious symptoms until they're advanced.
