Fleas and ticks are still going strong.

Extra walk? New toy? The good treats? They earned it.

Just remember... Treats should stay under 10% of daily calories and skip anything with bones, xylitol, or chocolate.

🐱🌎 Happy International Cat Day! 🌎🐱
Today we celebrate the tiny house panthers, professional biscuit makers, 3 a.m. zoomie champions, cardboard-box enthusiasts, and some of our most opinionated patients! 😹🐾
They may arrive at the vet singing the song of their people, give us a look that says “you’ll pay for this,” and suddenly develop the strength of 10 tigers when it’s exam time… but we wouldn’t have them any other way. ❤️🩺
Whether they’re cuddly, sassy, mischievous, or operating strictly on a “you may pet me when I allow it” basis, life is just better with cats. 🐈👑

August heat is no joke.

This is often the hottest stretch of the year, and pets can overheat fast. Keep it simple:

- Fresh water and shade, always.
- Walk early morning or evening.
- Watch flat-faced breeds and seniors closely.
- Never leave pets in a parked car.

Signs of heatstroke include heavy panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting. Call us right away if you see them. This is an emergency!
