This is Petal. One single soft and sweet morsel of a kitten.

She's 8-months-old and came in with a group of kitty friends -- yet is the last one left to find a home! 😢 Petal misses her friends and would love to go into a home with another young and playful cat. But could also become besties with a human, as long as they carve out some good Petal time throughout the day.

She's sweet with people yet ferocious with toy mice, duality at it's finest. Petal is very outgoing and playful and would be perfect for someone who wants a kitten but doesn't mind skipping the tiny phase -- where you're always afraid you'll step on 'em!

Santa Cruz SPCA - a recent visit where I communicated with some of their charges started with a session with Lunchbox, the kitten. He had gas and we wanted to get to the bottom of why. What a cutie!

Dog Church? Cat Church?
Some of us grew up going to church on Sunday mornings and, even if we didn't, Sunday is a good day to mentally and spiritually rest and refuel for the week ahead.
Spend 45 minutes this coming Sunday 10/22 (for dogs) or the following Sunday 10/29 (for cats) feeding your spirit and your connection to your animal(s) with Dog Church and/or Cat Church.
I'll start us off with a short guided meditation to get us in the Spirit Sunday vibe and then we'll share and focus on the animals: the joy they bring, how we can foster their happiness and our harmony with them, and even a few mini-readings for participants...because its fun and enriching to hear from others who share our love of animals.

Is it possible to Over-train a dog? Yup!

We know it is possible to undertrain, but we can also overtrain. Either extreme is not good for the dog and balance and harmony in your pack.
