When I bought my first Gelbvieh cows, I though they'd pair nicely with our SimAngus as a terminal cross. Honestly, they have blown me away with being much more than a terminal cross! The calves have way more vigor and life at birth. They hit the ground and wanna nurse right away many times before the mama wants to even get up! They are very fertile, docile, and easy keeping. I grew up loving Simmental and I still have a place in my heart for them but these Gelbviehs are impressive! Give them a shot!!!! You won't be disappointed!
