Animal Rescue and Adoption Center of Eastern Oregon (ARACEO) aka Blue Mountain Humane Association (BMHA) is a HIGH-SAVE 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to saving the lives of animals and placing them into new and loving homes. Juniper is a beautiful, energetic 3-year-old girl, possibly a Border Collie mix, weighing around 60 pounds. She's a smart cookie with a big heart, and her favorite place to be is right by her people's side!

Forget fetch sometimes—Juniper would much rather spend quality time with her humans! She loves splashing around in her kiddie pool and playing tug-of-war with her toys after dunking them in the water. This girl knows how to make her own fun!

Juniper enjoys walks with other dogs after proper introductions and generally does well on leash, although curious distractions can catch her attention. She already knows “sit” and is working on her manners, including keeping all four paws on the ground. What can we say? She's just got SO many hugs to give!

Juniper would do best in a cat-free home and can be selective about her dog friends, so meet and greets are required for any dogs in the household.

She's spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccinations, so she's ready to find her forever family!

If you're looking for a smart, affectionate, active companion who loves being part of your world, Juniper might just be your girl!

Meet Bingo, a 2-year-old, 36-pound Beagle/Terrier mix with a BIG personality, a HUGE love for food, and an adventurous spirit!

Bingo does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes! He's enjoyed playing with bigger dogs, hiking with smaller dogs, and sharing a yard with canine friends. Cats, however, are NOT his thing, so he'll need a cat-free home.

New people can be intimidating for Bingo at first. He needs time, patience, treats, and gentle encouragement to feel comfortable. Once he warms up, though, he becomes incredibly loyal and wants to follow his favorite people everywhere!

THE WAY TO BINGO'S HEART? FOOD! This boy is VERY food motivated and loves his snacks. A consistent feeding routine helps him feel secure. Families with young children should know he may try to grab food right out of their hands, so careful management around mealtimes is important.

Bingo is also an escape artist! Open doors, unsecured gates, and fences can be tempting opportunities for adventure. He needs a securely fenced yard, careful supervision, and proper confinement or secure leashing during car rides to keep him safe.

Bingo also experiences separation anxiety and would do best with someone who is home frequently. He needs structure, enrichment, and a patient family willing to help him build confidence and trust.

Once Bingo trusts you, you'll have a goofy, devoted, snack-loving companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side. He's looking for someone who understands his quirks, celebrates his progress, and gives him the safe, loving home he deserves.

MEET STACY — HER GOLDEN YEARS DESERVE TO BE FILLED WITH LOVE, NOT WAITING.

Meet Stacy, an 8-year-old brindle Pit Bull with a heart full of love and a whole lot of life left to live! This sweet senior girl is searching for her forever family — someone who will finally show her what it means to be cherished, safe, and HOME.

Her story breaks our hearts. Stacy was found at the Elgin dump, and sadly, no one ever came forward to claim her. We may never know how this beautiful girl ended up there, but we do know one thing: Stacy deserved SO much better. And now, we're determined to help her find the happy ending she's been waiting for.

What makes Stacy so special? Just about EVERYTHING!

She's a total people-lover who wants to be wherever her humans are. She's affectionate, sweet, and happiest soaking up love and attention. She's done wonderfully with people and does well with other dogs! She's also met cats in her foster home and has done great with them! And if you want a fetch buddy, Stacy is your girl! She LOVES to play fetch!

At 8 years young, she's past the puppy crazies and ready to enjoy the good life — cozy naps, leisurely days, and endless snuggles.

A little about Stacy's health: She's recently had dental work and is feeling good! She does have a Grade 2 heart murmur that will need to be monitored by her future family and veterinarian. We want her next family to understand her needs so she can continue getting the care and love she deserves.

At 8 years old, Stacy isn't asking for much. Just a soft place to land, a family to call her own, a little playtime, a lot of affection, and someone who will love her for the rest of her days.
