Hi! My name is Buck and I’m a 5-year-old shepherd mix! I am neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and current on my vaccines.

3 words that describe me: Affectionate, Goofy, Curious

Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: Everyone says I’m the sweetest guy! I have a lot of energy and love going on tons of adventures. When I’ve gotten all my energy out I’d love some affection and cuddles from my humans.

I should do well with kids of all ages given proper supervision. I should do well with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. Staff at CRHS are unsure how I’d do with cats.

My favorite activities are: Exploring, eating yummy snacks, and getting lots of love from my people!

We invite you to take a moment with us today to remember those beloved companions by sharing a photo of them in the comments. Whether it’s a favorite silly moment, a cozy cuddle, or a memory that still makes you smile, we’d love to see and celebrate them with you.

Hi there, my name is Lulu! I’m a 10 year-old spayed female Pit Bull Terrier. I am current on my vaccinations, microchipped and heartworm negative!

3 words that describe me: Cuddly, Spunky, Sweet

Things my foster has to say about me: She’s getting used to car rides and love pup-
cups. She love walks and is SO GOOD with kids, even in groups. She seems to have a bit of prey drive (likes to chase after squirrels and bunnies in the backyard) She’s such a sweetie and is definitely becoming one of our favs!

She’s done great on Doggy Day Outs as well! “Lulu is an nice and easy going dog.
When on our walk she stayed by me and paid little mind to the 2 dogs that passed us and other adults. She did great in the car too. At Pet Smart we didn’t see any other dogs and the staff liked her. She allowed them to pet her. Overall, Lulu had a great day and is a relaxed, easy going dog.”

🎉 Please help us welcome our newest veterinarian, Dr. Kailey Beck, to the La Crosse Veterinary Clinic team! 🐾

Whalan (white) is a 6 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative!

***Whalen is bonded with his housemate Willie (grey) who is also available for adoption! So, this pair of handsome men are required to go home together - for ONE combined adoption fee!

Meet Whalan! Whalan is certainly one of the sweetest guys you’re ever going to meet!! He and his bonded buddy Willie complement each other perfectly. While Whalan is confident and social, Willie is more reserved and laid back. Whalan adores getting attention from his favorite people and is happiest when he can just simply relax right by your side. When you aren’t around though he also does just fine with his independence—especially since his pal Willie is always close by! He is a very mellow and low-key kitty who otherwise enjoys relaxing his days away whether he’s lounging next to a sunny window, catnapping in a cozy bed, or hanging out with Willie.

While Whalan is the sweetest guy around, he does still startle on occasion and get
stressed when there is a lot going on around him. So, he would do best in a bit of a
calmer and quieter home with kids at least 5 years of age or older. He should do ok with other types of calmer and respectful pets in the home too given slow and proper introductions to one another.
