These three adorable Corgis have their very own Instagram account! 📸🐾 Veterinary Technician Maria had the pleasure of spending time with them and reports that they are very good dogs! 🥰

We think three Corgis make for triple the fun, triple the cuteness, and plenty of personality! ❤️🐶

Melissa was a certified veterinary nurse when I first started at Hillside over 5 years ago. She helped show me the ropes of practicing at a new clinic and was always so helpful, kind, and eager to teach. I was sad to see her leave, but understood the new opportunities she couldn't pass up. A few years later, she missed veterinary medicine and is back! She picked everything right back up, even with the many new and exciting changes Hillside has seen. She especially excels with her technical skills, client education and communication, and patient care and comfort. I am grateful to have Melissa back on the team and look forward to working with her in years to come.

🧡 Orange you glad we got to meet Gizmo?! 🐈🍊

This handsome orange boy recently visited Hillside for an exam with Dr. Harper and Veterinary Assistant Jackie! At just 7 months old, Gizmo is already bringing plenty of orange-cat charm to the table. 🧡

🍊 Most orange cats are male! The gene responsible for their orange coloring is linked to the X chromosome, which makes orange boys more common than orange girls.

🐱 No two orange tabbies have exactly the same stripes! Their coats can feature classic swirls, stripes, spots, or even subtle freckles.

🧡 Orange cats are known for their big personalities, and the internet has certainly given them a reputation for being extra goofy! (We’ll let you decide if Gizmo lives up to the hype. 😉)

Maria is an extremely consistent and hard worker at Hillside Animal Hospital. She is always willing to lend a hand and help with patient care. She is a friendly upbeat coworker who is always striving to make the lives of our patients better. Hillside is lucky to have such a great team member such as Maria.

🐾 Hillside had some stars at Pet Expo LAX this weekend! 🐱✨

Veterinary Assistant Hannah and her two cats, Sylvester (Tuxedo) and Lychee (Red Point), participated in the ACFA Championship and Household Pet Cat Show presented by the Windy Kitty Cat Club!

Both cats did an awesome job, but Sylvester really stole the show with his charming personality! 😻 Hannah also deserves a round of applause for teaching herself how to sew and making the curtain for their enclosure. Talk about dedication!

They even had their own fan club, with several Hillside team members there to cheer them on! 💚

Way to go, Hannah, Sylvester, and Lychee! We’re proud of you! 🐾🏆

🩹🎃 Learning, growing, and getting a little festive at Hillside! 🎃🩹

Last week, our team took some time for learning and growth with a bandage lab! 🐾 Certified Veterinary Nurse Diana led the training, and sweet Finn was our wonderful patient.

Finn fractured a bone in his paw and has been coming in for bandage changes while it heals. Through it all, he’s been such a trooper and an absolute sweetheart! 💙

Veterinary Technician Maria helped with restraint during the training, while Veterinary Assistant Shelby got creative and added some Halloween spirit with some adorable Halloween-themed bandage art! 👻🕷️

We love opportunities like these to build our skills, learn from one another, and continue providing the best care possible for our patients. And a big shoutout to Finn for being such a good sport! 🐶💙
