You just caught a once in a lifetime fish. Now you have to make a big decision on who you want to work on your fish you will look at for the rest of your life. This perch was incredibly large, pics don't do this fish justice. I used a soft tape for reference. Tail pinched mouth shut this giant came out to 17 3/8 inches long. This is a skin mount on a custom carved body. Took photos in a few different lighting situations to show it off. I'm so thankful for all the people that live on the east side of our state that drive across the whole state, past many other taxidermist to bring me these huge jumbos to work on as well as other fish. It's greatly appreciated.
