It looks as if our w**emaking season has come to a close. Or at least the first part of this year's story. And we have sure had some great fun so far.
Over the last six weeks we have harvested, pressed, and completed fermentation on over 600 pounds of grapes yielding nearly 70 gallons of young w**e. It has been a very busy time in which we learned a lot about the science, and art, of producing a quality w**e from locally sourced northern grapes. Now the story continues as we wait, monitor, rack, and wait some more as our w**e ages and develops it's own unique character in our story.
Special shout out to our new w**e making friends - Jeff, Mary, Butch, and Bonnie. Thank you for your hospitality and patience with your self-acclaimed apprentices. Hope you realize that you're stuck with us now!
