This little prince is Raja. He's a gorgeous Siamese boy with big blue eyes and none of the "Siamese attitude." He's super friendly with everyone he meets and chill around all the other cats at the shelter. He doesn't even get upset when the teenage kittens crawl all over him!

While we haven't seen Raja around any small children or dogs, based on his tolerance for kittens, we suspect he would do well in most households, given a proper introduction. We approximate his age at 1-3 years old.

Introducing our F litter! Their momma Finley came into the rescue as a pregnant stray and was moved to foster so she could give birth and nurse her kittens. Now they're weaned and ready to take on the world!

Introducing Fable! Like all of his siblings, he's got a half grey tabby, half white coat. Fable and Fig have nearly identical tabby coats, with white only on their bellies, their boots, and their chins, but where Fig has a little tabby moustache, Fable's nose is all white. Fable is your typical kitten. He plays hard and sleeps hard, and loves to romp around with his siblings and the other kittens at the rescue. He would love to go home with one of his siblings so that he has a lifetime playmate to grow up with!

It is extremely beneficial for kittens to be together. It's also how they learn limits with scratching and develop social skills. Plus, they learn by observing and interacting with each other, making it easier to learn about scratching limits and develop social skills. Kittens will do well with other cats, cat-savvy dogs and children with a proper introduction!

We will give preference to applications for pairs, or homes with another young feline playmate there. You can stop in and meet any of our available pets during our open hours every Wednesday and Saturday. For an appointment, call us at 507-895-2066 or email [email protected]

ZERO APPLICATIONS.
Dogs have come and gone. Families have found their perfect matches. But not one person has looked at Ginger and said, “That’s our girl.” 💔

At around 45 pounds, this girl is full of life, love, and playfulness! And here’s something special about Ginger: she LOVES other dogs. We would love to find her a home with a playful canine companion who can be her buddy, burn off some energy with her, and show her the joy of having a family. Have a dog at home who needs a new best friend? Let’s set up a doggy playdate! We’d love to arrange a meet-and-greet to see if Ginger and your pup could be a perfect match.
Ginger is crate trained, walks nicely on a leash and is a smart girl continuing to learn. She would thrive in a cat free home with another doggie friend. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and she is hoping she doesn't have to spend another month waiting. Her adoption fee is $200, but can one really put a price on a furry friend who is ready to show you pure joy? We are asking anyone interested to first fill out an application which can be found on our website. Please help us SHARE our girl. She came to the shelter as a puppy but is almost ready to celebrate her first Birthday . Here's to hoping she doesn't have to spend another month waiting.
