Dill Farms is excited to share our For the Love of Polo interview this week with Paetynn Zayac!

Paetynn had the opportunity to ride Dill Farm Ponies at the NYTS, and Margery Magill Memorial Scholorship Tournament, held at Eldorado Polo Club every January.

Paetynn shared that "Itโ€™s a really fantastic tournament thatโ€™s nicely organized! I was able to meet so many new friends and horses, and it was just an overall fantastic experience in California! "

Fun Facts Paetynn shared with us:

* Why did you choose to play horse polo?

"I chose to play polo because of the horses, and the fact itโ€™s a team sport. You get to become friends with so many amazing new people, travel, and see new places. Thereโ€™s such a supportive community that always has your back!"

* Which is your favorite Dill Pony and Why?

"Zambezi is my favorite pony (so far ;)) She is super sweet on the sidelines and so fantastic to play on the field! I think that she put her heart into the game and was always able to keep me up in the play."

* Which is your preferred venue for polo? Arena or Field ?

"Iโ€™m starting to become a bigger fan of the field more recently. Itโ€™s so amazing to be able to run down the field and not worry about running into any walls."

* What other interests do you have outside of polo?

"Outside of polo I started working at a small animal hospital! I really enjoy spending my time there, itโ€™s so lovely to be able to work with not just horses but cats, dogs, bunnies and more!"

*What other horse disciplines do you compete in?

"Fun fact, Iโ€™ve never actually competed or done any other disciplines. I went straight into polo and havenโ€™t looked back since! "

Paetynn's love for all animals shows in her kind spirit! We cant wait to see where her passion for polo and animals ultimately take her!

Part 2 Lauren Patoile Interview

Field or Arena?

"Field is definitely my top choice for polo. I love in grass the dynamics of your team. I have grown up on grass and will always prefer it. Grass and arena are two totally different games. I love the openness of grass getting to flat out run is the top five best feelings in the world."

What are your goals in 2026?

"My goals for 2026 season is to hopefully make it to D2 Nationals for Montana university."

Home Club?

My home club is Denver Polo Club I have been there since I was 5 years old!

Other Interests?

When Iโ€™m not playing polo, which is hard not to do since Iโ€™m always doing it, I enjoy hunting and doing fun activities to keep me moving.

Gratitude?

"Iโ€™m so thankful for my Coach Thea she really brings the club together. Sheโ€™s not only a couch but a good friend that will help no matter what. Iโ€™m so grateful for someone like her as my coach. I canโ€™t wait for my team to grow together as we continue to play."

Can't wait to see Lauren reach her 2026 polo goals!

Dill Farms wishes everyone a wonderful new year and hopes to see you all having a great polo season ๐ŸŽ

Dill Farms, for the Love of Polo, is welcoming in 2026 with our first interview of the year!

Lauren Patoile, is a dynamic polo player with the MSU Team!

Lauren comes from a family that plays polo, and learned to ride since she could walk.

Fun Facts to share about Lauren:

First pony?

"My first ponyโ€™s name is Pocket, who is still alive today and doing fun riding lessons with kids that were my age when I had him. He was a great little pony that would take me anywhere even fox hunting."

"My first experience riding a horse that I can remember anyway, was when my parents were playing polo and I rode up on our horse ba****ck. It was funny because heโ€™s the horse that would drop anyone if he got the chance. He was one of my favorite polo ponies."

Why Polo?

"My dad always said to me itโ€™s either this or sit in the trailer. So the obvious pick was to play polo. I committed to this sport when he gave me the option of this or volleyball. We all know how that went."

And...

"Polo is an out of world experience that once you start you will never want to stop. I have been playing for more than half my life and it is engraved in me. I will always find a way to keep playing it."

Other disciplines you've participated in?

"I have done hunter jumper, fox hunting, sorting and cutting. This is what helped me to be a skilled rider and well disciplined. The first thing to being a good polo player is riding, and my background helped me so much."

First time meeting George Dill?

"I first met George Dill when I was 16 in a I/I tournament in California. I was fortunate enough to be able to ride his horses and have played them in many tournaments. "

Favorite Dill Pony?

" My favorite Dill pony is either Caviar or Primavera. These two are amazing well rounded horses that will do anything for you. Caviar is definitely my favorite on grass I always hope to play her in my away strings."
Field or Arena?

Continued Interview Skyler Bell Part 3

Other interests outside of polo?
"I love to shoot sports photography, and I actually have my own business for polo photography and videography "

What Skyer admires about her coach at MSU, " She is so kind and helpful! Especially since I have the least amount of experience on my team, she really helps me get my riding down!

What do you love most about playing polo for MSU? " Everyone I've met on all the Montana State club teams are so nice, and we all get along really well, which helps a lot! I've also learned a lot from all the players on my team, both in and out of the arena."

I love helping out other photographers, so please be sure to check out Skyler Bells Photography, on Facebook and Instagram.

We look forward to seeing where the future takes you Skyler!

For the Love of Polo Interview with George Dill Farms, LLC

This week we are excited to share our interview with an outgoing MSU Polo Team Player, Skyler Bell !

We love that Skyler is a Team player, energetic, empathetic, and talkative !

Skyler took a few leisure riding lessons when she was 8 years old, but explained that she really learned how to ride only 3 years ago.

Skyler recalls that her first time riding was at Boston Polo Club with Mark Tashjian and Benji Danials.ย

She was looking for a sport to play, and her mom saw a Facebook ad for a polo club nearby. She decided to go, and fell in love with the sport!
