Mittleider Eventing Mittleider Eventing is an Eventing-oriented facility in Kuna, Idaho.

The Mittleider Family mission is to develop horses and riders and promote the sport of eventing. Good horsemanship and safety are the underlying principles taught and all levels of riding are gladly accepted in the Mittleider lesson and training programs.

!! ATTENTION!!

It’s that time of year again!

Attila and I will be making our annual fall trip to Europe looking at horses! 5 countries in all, featuring horses for all types, budgets, and aspirations.
Can’t make a trip yourself? For the first time, we will share first hand videos, pictures, and info on all horses viewed and tested via a WhatsApp catalog. If you wish to join this group, and have access to behind the scenes footage, just send me a message with your WhatsApp contact!
For those with more specific needs, and budgets, we can curate a selection tailored to you!

WE ARE HIRING

Mittleider Eventing is now looking to hire a capable assistant to our program. This is a paid position.

Over 18yrs old, with a drivers license. Would prefer truck/trailer driving experience.

Job would include cleaning stalls, turning horses in and out, feeding, riding, and teaching.

Ideal candidate would be capable of riding at the preliminary level. Hard worker, that’s self starting. Confident and comfortable with young horses, as well as high end competition horses.
Personable with clients, as well as teaching with a clear understanding of the basics.

While we do our best to have the job be 5 and a half days, with work finished by 5:30, work hours can sometimes run longer due to working with horses.

We can not control the weather!
Candidates need to be prepared to work in hot, cold, wet (sometimes it rains, sometimes it snows🤷🏻‍♀️) it definitely will be windy.

We value people with a team mentality, that is both coachable and willing to learn as they go.
Housing is possible for the right fit. No personal horses at this time.

Hello everyone! Need a final prep before Aspen, or just want to have some fun in the beautiful weather? We will have cross country schooling available through the weekend. BN-Training, but if there’s something in particular that needs practiced, specific questions can be arranged to be set!

Graydar’s Dream (Timon) is a 6yr old, 16.2 OTTB gelding. Timon last raced at the end of July 2023, retiring sound, and with very clean legs after 23 starts 3 wins, 1 second 3 thirds achieved.
He was given a little time on the field after coming to us off the track, and began his education as an event horse late fall/early winter of 2023.
Timon is lovely in the contact, and is extremely comfortable to ride in all 3 gaits. He shows a good technique and bascule over the jumps, with an above average hind leg.
He has been jumped on a line up to 4’, and under saddle he is capable of a course at novice height, with a few jumps at training.
Very brave on Xc, with zero problems ditches/banks/water both on a line and under saddle.
He has excellent ground manners, and no stable vices. Very easy for hauling, bathing, clipping, grooming etc.
We would not recommend him to anyone not familiar or comfortable with an OTTB, as he does still get hit and tense when arriving to new places, and thinking he could be racing. He does settle in every time, and is back to his usual self, but until this phase passes, he would not be for a timid or inexperienced rider.
He has done all the training and exposure to be ready to start showing.

Our very own ❤️Wingman❤️ is now available!
This lovely young prospect has progressed beautifully, and is now ready to take on his next adventure and partner.
Wingman is a 16.2, 4 yrs old chestnut Zangersheide gelding, hailing from an outstanding family line. With 3 lovely gaits, super comfortable to ride, lovely in the contact, will make him a pleasure for anyone to continue his education.
Jumping small course indoors and outside, as well as proving very brave and willing when xc schooling, Wingman is a very capable gentleman to go in any direction.
Currently located in Europe!!
Reasonably priced, and ready to start with in the 2024 season!

FR Lady Like would be the ultimate gift. This special girl is a barn favorite, and gains new friends everywhere she goes. Her striking color, and amazing temperament sets her apart from the crowd.

LuLu is a 6yr old, 16.1hh Westphalian mare. She has always placed in the ribbons in Eventing through training level. She is a reliable, and consistent partner with scores in the low 30s/ high 20s. Zero cross country penalties ever, and clear or 1 rail in show jumping.
Lulu has also been competitive in the jumpers, with wins in the 1.0m classes, as well as placing in 1.10m.

LuLu has all the capability for the prelim/intermediate level, 1.30m jumpers, or a perfect all a-rounder to do a bit of everything.
She is as uncomplicated a horse as you could wish for, no matter the gender. Easy to do in every way, both at home or at a show. Goes in a kk snaffle, auto lead changes, and 3 very comfortable gaits.

She has her own engine, but also will go for ba****ck rides, and trail rides in the hills.
LuLu is very loved, and a great home is a must for this very good girl!

She would not be for a complete beginner rider, or a very nervous rider, as she needs a rider with good balance and soft hands, but she is a forgiving type of personality. Brave, no stop, and well produced on the flat.
