Shelby Ketcham is the founder of SJR Horsemanship and is based in Kuna, Idaho. She not only trains horses, but also runs a lesson program for adults and children alike! Shelby strives to develop a strong and trusting relationship between horse and rider, both on the ground and under saddle. She has been working in the business for over 15 years alongside many great horsemen and women. She continues to show regularly in multiple disciplines and presents at horse events across the northwest. Bringing a psychological approach to horse training, she strives to stand out from her peers. Not only does she have a degree in agricultural business, Shelby is an active member of several local associations. She is on the Idaho Horse Board as well as being on the board of directors for Idaho Horse Council, Western Riding Club, Idaho Ranch Riding Association and Idaho State Horse Association.

Shelby loves using Team Equine products, whether it's a custom pad for a certain horse or saddle, or a simple training pad used daily. She enjoys having different options to help keep her personal horses and client horses as comfortable and free moving as possible. We are thrilled to have Shelby representing Team Equine!

What an incredible weekend at our Liberty & Ranch Versatility Clinic at Rose Ridge Arena in Idaho Falls!

Thank you to everyone who joined us during our clinic sessions! It was a pleasure getting to work with each of you and your horses. Watching partnerships grow, confidence build, and seeing so many willing horses and dedicated riders made for an amazing weekend.

A big thank you to our wonderful hosts at Rose Ridge Arena for opening your facility and making everyone feel so welcome. We truly appreciate your hospitality.

What a memorable weekend at the Western States Horse Expo at the beautiful Murieta Equestrian Center!

We had so much fun sharing our passion for horses, meeting new people, reconnecting with old friends, and being part of such a great event. A huge thank you to all of the staff, volunteers, exhibitors, and horse lovers who make this expo possible. So much work goes on behind the scenes, and we truly appreciate everything you do.

I also want to give a special shout-out to my husband, Nate. Thank you for always supporting me, loading up and heading down the road to all of these horse events, and being my biggest supporter through it all. I couldn’t do it without you.

And to everyone back at the ranch who kept things running while we were away—thank you. Knowing the horses and ranch were in such good hands allowed us to focus on the event and enjoy the experience.

My heart is full after a wonderful weekend. Thank you to everyone who came to watch a presentation and stopped by the booth to say hello. We’re grateful to be part of such an amazing horse community.
