One of those days where a lot got done, but nothing on my actual list did. 😂 Quite a bit of siding that was covering the log cabin came down, discovered rot in one place and will have to figure out repairs. Fortunately, nothing structural.
Wifi for the trailer pads that don’t exist yet is working, which means security cams are working. Tommy is diligently clearing the fence line for the breezeway and putting in the pipe fence for my horses (can’t wait to have them here!), all the scrap metal is gone, took a couple loads. A couple full dumpsters of just junk have now exited the property, and now theres just little stuff to clean up.
Next huge project is the barns, major cleans and reworking there, have to figure out how to get county water lines run to the pads, electric is in the works, then actually pouring the pads, but they’re mostly mapped out.
The pond has dropped considerably, and when doing the math we’ve regained almost 3 acres of land for my horses that was just wet marshy stuff they’d have gotten bogged down in. It will be beautiful.
The large dark area of land has been approved for bees, so I will be planting a wildflower patch with fruit trees and creating a winding walking path-for people only, not horses-thru there, Spring is going to be amazing!
