Behind the scenes of Bark to School! 🎓🐾📸

Is it easy getting this many dogs to look at the camera? Absolutely not. 😂 But we did it — and we had SO much fun with our daycare dogs last week!

Bark to School is just one of the ways we like to make daycare a little more fun around here. Between special events, weekly activities, enrichment, playtime, and plenty of time with their dog friends, there’s always something happening at The Bark. 🧡

A HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in Bark to School Photos! We’re working through all those adorable faces now. Photos will be ready within 1–2 weeks, and we’ll send participating families a message as soon as proofs are ready to view!

There are some people who will always feel like home in the Appalachian Mountains.

Today, Tennessee lost one of ours. 🤍

Dolly Parton gave the world a lot of great country music, endless kindness, laughter and generosity. She set an example to us all just what it means to be a true Tennessean.

She had a pretty special place in her heart for dogs. From writing “Puppy Love” to creating Doggy Parton and supporting animal rescue right here in her state, her love for dogs was just one small piece of the enormous heart that gave so much to so many.

We’ll always be proud that a heart that big came from East Tennessee.

Rest easy, Dolly. 🦋
