It is with an EDUCATED and INFORMED decision that we announce the closure of our store, effective IMMEDIATELY. This decision has not come lightly, but after careful consideration, we have determined that our values and ethics no longer align with the current state of our city government and a local real estate agents most recent libel slanderous claims along with a handful of "clicky" artisans who care less about contracts they signed or policies we upheld.
Over the years, we have prided ourselves on being a part of this once vibrant downtown community, committed to serving you with integrity and dedication. However, the troubling developments in our local government and the slanderous statements of that agent, have compelled us to take a stand. Numerous lawsuits against the city, highlighting systemic abuse of power and disregard for the very citizens they are meant to serve, have raised serious concerns about the leadership that governs us. Reports of these issues have been circulating, and we anticipate that more lawsuits are forthcoming, shedding light on the negligence and misconduct that has permeated our local administration.
What is particularly disheartening is the responseāor lack thereofāduring times of crisis. Instead of extending empathy and compassion in the wake of natural disasters, we have witnessed our leaders springing into action only to further their own agendas and bolster their personal portfolios. Same can be said for this agent as well. This blatant opportunism at times when our community needs genuine support and solidarity is unacceptable.
Furthermore, the cityās failure to promote ethical governance has created a toxic environment that has hindered the progress of our community. We have witnessed the unfortunate turnover of economic developersāprofessionals who are crucial to fostering growth and innovationādue to the pervasive issues within the administration. Their inability to maintain a cohesive and effective team speaks volumes about the underlying problems that plague our city.
As a business that values integrity, respect, and community welfare, we can no longer support a system that disregards these essential principles. Our name is important to us, and we refuse to be associated with anyone including an administration that operates contrary to our core beliefs.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support throughout the years. It has been a privilege to serve you, and we will cherish the memories weāve created together. We hope that in the future, THIS community can reclaim its values and rebuild a government that truly represents the interests of its citizens.
Thank you for understanding our decision. We encourage you to stay engaged and advocate for the change our city desperately needs.
With much consideration and mindful attention to who we want to fill our current space and our great relationship we have e built over the past 6 years with our current landlord , Lis's Pieces has personally chosen HUDSON ART AND DECOR AS THE NEW TENNANTS of our current location and a lease has been signed sealed and delivered.

Despite our best efforts, we have found it impossible to overcome the reputation damage caused by these unfounded lies and the jealousy that has fueled them. We want you to know that we are pursuing legal action against both the agent and the city to seek justice for the wrongs we have endured.
Our time here has been filled with cherished memories, meaningful connections, and the joy of contributing to a once vibrant community. We are incredibly grateful for the support you have shown us throughout the years. Your trust and loyalty have meant the world to us.
As we close this chapter, we are excited to take our business and resources to a community that truly embodies the values we hold dearāa place where ethical behavior, truth, and kindness are paramount.
