TeBeau's swab is at our lab and has started processing. The results should be ready in one to three weeks.

Our geneticists first extract TeBeau’s DNA from the saliva swab. Then they look at thousands of genetic markers to detect the mutations behind diseases and other traits like coat color. After intensive quality control we deliver specific genotypes and insights for TeBeau, such as inbreeding and genetic diversity.

Merry Christmas Season..........................

RUDY (7/15/15 - 10/24/25) passed away peacefully this morning at 6:60 AM after a brief illness. She was a sweet tempered, loyal, and a loving companion and friend. She got up, went outside with the other two dogs, and 30 minutes later when I went to let then dogs in I watched her take her last breath lying on the porch, and just like that she was gone. She had hormonal issues, had been on some different medications, and this was a week of decline for her as she was not eating much at all. I did get her to eat a chicken thigh late afternoon yesterday and stopped one of the medications I thought was making her have no appetite and increased her respiration. She seemed fine last night and like I say she jumped right up this morning and went outside for her first break of the day. Then just like that she was gone. I suspect her heart gave out on her as she had some hormonal problems and had been on medication for a few months. At any rate, she will be missed by her two furry companions and myself. She was a super sweet girl who caused no harm in her life, living quietly except to bark at passing strangers and wait for a kiss and a hug each morning before she went outside.
