School is back in session, and apparently our daycare pups have homework too! 😂🐶

This week at Knox And The Hound, ALL of our daycare dogs will be making their very own back-to-school themed craft to take home! ❤️🐾

We’ve got the pencils ✏️
We’ve got the crayons 🖍️
We’ve got the paint 🎨
And most importantly… we’ve got plenty of PAW PRINTS! 🐾🐾🐾

No studying required. 🎓⭐

We just wanted to take a minute and say THANK YOU. ❤️🐾

When we originally made this post, the idea was pretty simple—we wanted people who came across our page to be able to read the comments and see what our customers love about Knox And The Hound.

What we didn’t expect was how much we would get out of it.

Reading through all of your comments, kind words, favorite memories, and the reasons you trust us with your dogs honestly meant more to us than we can put into words. 🥹

We pour so much of ourselves into this place. There are long days, crazy days, loud days, lots of dog hair 😂, and days when you wonder if you’re doing everything right. Then you read something like what all of you wrote on this post, and it reminds us exactly why we do it.

🐾 NOW HIRING: PART-TIME NIGHT CHECK POSITION 🐾

Knox And The Hound is looking for a reliable, responsible person to join our team for part-time night checks!

This position is perfect for someone who is comfortable working independently and unsupervised and, most importantly, truly enjoys caring for dogs.

Night check duties include:
🐶 Entering and securing the building independently
💡 Turning on lights and preparing for nighttime checks
🐾 Letting dogs outside individually for their nighttime potty break
💧 Making sure every dog has fresh water
🧹 Checking kennels and cleaning them as needed
🛏️ Fluffing and straightening blankets so everyone is comfortable for the night
🐕 Safely returning each dog to their kennel individually
❤️ Making sure every dog is safe, comfortable, and settled before leaving

Because you’ll be working independently, we’re looking for someone who is dependable, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and personalities.

📢 Business Trip Schedule Update 🐾

Just a quick heads-up! We’ll be out of town on a trip next week, so our hours will be slightly different.

🗓 Friday, August 7: Open 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

🗓 Saturday, August 8 & Sunday, August 9: Closed for daycare, grooming, and other services.

❤️ If your dog is boarding with us, don’t worry! All of our boarding guests will receive the same love, care, attention, exercise, and potty breaks they always do. Their routine won’t change while we’re away.

🗓 Monday, August 10 – Wednesday, August 12: Open 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

🗓 Thursday, August 13: We’ll return to our normal business hours.

Thank you for your understanding and support while we take this short trip. We appreciate all of our amazing clients and look forward to seeing everyone when we get back!

🎉 Happy 100th Day, Remy! 🎉

Remy has officially hit 100 days of daycare, and honestly, she’s treated every single one like her own personal party, and we’re all the most loyal members of her fan club. These photos don’t just mark 100 days — they span most of her lifetime because we’ve been lucky enough to watch her grow up throughout her time with us.

Remy’s never met a stranger… unless you count the occasional small dog she tries to “playfully punch,” but we promise — it’s all in good fun and full of doodle enthusiasm.

Remy, thanks for being the goofy, loving, social queen of Knox And The Hound. We absolutely adore you. 💕
