🩺🐾Happy Veterinary Technician Week🐾🩺
Fountain City Animal Hospital would not be the place it is today without the incredible people who dedicate so much of themselves to caring for our patients. Our veterinary technicians are the heart of so much that happens within our walls, and we could never fully express how thankful we are for each of them. Their compassion, dedication, and love for what they do make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families every single day. We are truly grateful to have a team that cares as deeply as they do.
There is so much more to veterinary medicine than what you see during an appointment. Behind the scenes are the people who carefully monitor your pets during surgery, comfort them when they are frightened, administer their medications, and make sure they feel safe and loved when you cannot be there. They are the ones who notice the smallest changes, celebrate the little victories, and provide comfort during some of life’s most difficult moments. They are often the ones holding your pet close, offering an extra blanket, or sitting beside them just a little longer because they know they need it.
They experience the joy of watching a sick patient recover and the heartbreak of saying goodbye to one they have grown to love. They celebrate alongside families when there is good news and share in their sadness when there isn’t. Their work requires so much more than medical knowledge and technical skills. It takes a special kind of person to give so much of their heart to animals they may have only just met.
This week, we want to recognize seven wonderful individuals who each bring something special to our hospital. We are so fortunate to have every one of them!
💕 Ashley – Ashley has truly never met a stranger! Her genuine personality and compassionate heart make everyone around her feel welcome and cared for. We are so thankful for the warmth and kindness she brings to our patients, clients, and team every day.
💕 Kelly – Kelly’s empathy and dedication shine through in the work she does. She takes great pride in caring for our patients and is always willing to take initiative to ensure they receive the attention they deserve. We are incredibly grateful for her commitment, compassion, and hard work.
💕 Kira – Kira’s bubbly personality brings so much happiness and positivity to our hospital! Her nurturing heart and attention to detail are reflected in the care she provides to our patients. We are so thankful for the joy, kindness, and dedication she brings to our team.
💕 Elizabeth – Elizabeth has such a kind and thoughtful heart and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Her genuine care for others and willingness to go the extra mile makes her such a special part of our team. We are incredibly thankful for her selflessness, compassion, and the difference she makes every day.
💕 Robin – Robin’s compassion and patience are just a few of the qualities that make her so special. She is someone you can always count on, and her caring nature brings comfort to both our patients and coworkers. We are so grateful for her gentle heart, dependability, and dedication to our hospital.
💕 Rebecca – Rebecca’s determination, empathy, and attention to detail make her such a valuable part of our team. Her strong-willed nature and dedication to doing what is best for our patients are qualities we truly admire. We are incredibly thankful for the care, hard work, and commitment she brings to our hospital.
💕 Shelbee – Shelbee has such a kind and considerate heart and is always willing to help wherever she is needed. Her thoughtfulness and genuine willingness to support those around her make her such a wonderful part of our team. We are so thankful for her kindness, dedication, and everything she contributes to our hospital.
To our incredible team, we hope you know that your hard work never goes unnoticed. The extra time you spend comforting a patient, the little things you do to make their day better, and the love you give to animals who cannot thank you themselves mean more than you will ever know.
