Dr. Nikki Quaglia just wrapped up three days of hands-on dental training at the Animal Dental Training Center.

She spent the course sharpening her skills in veterinary dentistry, including techniques that will help her evaluate and treat dental disease more thoroughly and confidently.

We love seeing our doctors continue to grow in areas they’re passionate about — and we’re excited for Dr. Quaglia to bring that training back to FPAC.

She’ll be back in the clinic Tuesday and ready to see patients!

We’re excited to share that Dr. Catherine Carr will be joining Forest Park Animal Clinic beginning September 22!

Dr. Carr brings more than 25 years of veterinary experience in Knoxville and has spent much of her career caring for pets and families in our community.

She has a special interest in veterinary dentistry and was especially excited about joining FPAC because of the opportunity to continue developing that area of medicine.

Dr. Carr also shares our belief that veterinary care should be thoughtful, individualized, and as low-stress as possible for both pets and their people.

We’re looking forward to welcoming her to the FPAC team—and introducing her to all of you very soon.

One of our favorite things about being a locally owned small business is getting to be part of a community that shows up for one another. ❤️

A few weeks ago, we saw that Gus's Good Times Deli had started an "Adopt a Teacher" project to help local teachers with the classroom supplies they so often end up purchasing out of their own pockets.

We immediately knew we wanted in. 🍎✏️📚

Thanks to Gus’s, Forest Park Animal Clinic had the opportunity to adopt a local teacher and help get her classroom ready for a new school year.

But what has been especially wonderful to watch is what happened around this project. Gus’s reached out across Knoxville, and local small businesses stepped up — not because there was something in it for them, but because someone in our community needed a little help.

That is the kind of Knoxville we are proud to be part of. ❤️

A HUGE thank-you to the folks at Gus's Good Times Deli for having the idea, doing the work to bring everyone together, matching teachers with sponsors, and reminding all of us what supporting local really looks like.

We’re pretty proud to be one of the small businesses that got to say, "Count us in.”

And now… we have some school-supply shopping to do! 🛒🍎
