We love this....

There’s something so funny about the way they can turn one random patch of grass into the highlight of the whole walk.

One second they’re walking normally… the next, they’re upside down, feet in the air, completely enjoying themselves.

And then they get up, shake it off, and carry on like nothing happened. ❤️🐾

Sharing an event for our friends at Adopt a Golden Knoxville, Inc.

AGK’s BarktoberFest 2026 is this Sunday (10-25, 3-6pm, Lakeshore Park) and we can’t wait to see you!!! We will have 3 AGK orphans at the event if you’d like to come meet them.

Chianti (2 years, purebred golden)
Brandy (1 year, purebred golden)
Treasure (6 years, Pyrenees mix)

All 3 girls are good with children and other dogs. They are healthy and available for adoption.

As a reminder, we do not adopt dogs out at the event, it’s just an opportunity to meet them in person. Trust us, they’d love to meet you!

To skip the line and purchase your BarktoberFest tickets in advance or to fill out an adoption application, please visit www.adoptagoldenknoxville.org.

This is so relatable.

There’s something so sweet about the way they choose us as their favorite place to rest.

Your foot might go numb. You might be sitting in the most awkward position possible. But once they’re comfortable… somehow you just stay there.

Because when they trust you enough to settle right against you, moving suddenly feels impossible. ❤️🐾

Five easy ways to help your cat drink more water this fall:

1. Place several water stations throughout the house.
2. Keep water away from litter boxes and busy walkways.
3. Try wide glass, ceramic, or stainless-steel bowls that do not crowd the whiskers.
4. Offer a properly cleaned cat fountain if your cat prefers moving water.
5. Add a little water to canned food—if your cat accepts it and it fits their prescribed diet.

Refresh bowls every day and wash them regularly. Some cats are surprisingly particular about the location, temperature, bowl material, and freshness of their water.

Which does your cat prefer: a bowl, fountain, dripping faucet—or your water glass?
