Did you know that FFF has a barn cat program? It’s true - we do! What’s a barn cat? We sometimes run across cats that aren’t interested in the indoor life and would rather spend their days working. These cats use their natural instincts to help control rodent populations and prevent other pests from moving in on your territory. Cats are the safest way to provide pest control without the use of traps or pesticides making your home safer for kids and other pets! And the best part - you’re also helping your community by providing a much needed home to an otherwise homeless cat. Do you have a barn or outdoor area that could use some environmentally safe pest control? If so, send us an email to [email protected] or send us a PM through our socials. We’ll get some info over to you about our program. We provide everything including spayed/neutered, vaccinated cats - you just provide food, water and shelter. Help us put more cats to work!

The cast is assembled! Five five-month-old kittens, two adoption events, one weekend, and a single shared ambition: getting adopted. Immediately.

Stallone is a black-and-white tuxedo with a small mustache and serious leading-man energy. Estevez is mostly black, with a white chin and very large eyes. Meryl is mostly white with dramatic black patches and does her best work lying down. Emilio is a gray tabby with white socks and a steady gaze. Demi is a cream-and-chocolate point beauty with a pink collar and quiet confidence.

Yes, there is an Estevez and an Emilio. No, they will not be explaining it.

All five are social, take mealtime very seriously, and are making real progress toward being cat friendly. They're ready for their next role: someone's couch.

**EXTRA TOES. EXTRA LOVE.**

Meet Misfeet, a two-month-old warm grey polydactyl kitten with bright green eyes and more toes than she strictly needs. She knows it, too. Point a camera at her and she'll raise one of those oversized, mitten-shaped paws right back at you.

Misfeet and her three siblings were rescued during a recent TNR operation at an apartment complex beside a busy road. That was no place for kittens, so we brought them into foster care to give each of them a safer, better life.

She's playful, curious, and packed with personality. The big feet are mostly used for reaching, swatting, and posing. Expect to be drawn right in.

Hi! I'm Sharon! My foster mom says I'm a sassy princess! I'm my own girl, I know what I want in this world and will go for it! I may seem a little shy at first though. You see, I was born outside and had to fend for myself against these weird things called hawks. I also injured my leg at some point and have a bit of a limp. It doesn't hurt me at all and definitely does not impede my ability to run, jump and play like any other kitten! I LOVE delectables! I mean, I really LOVE delectables. I'll follow you to the ends of the earth for one! I would love a family of my own who appreciates a strong, independent kitten who will bring so much joy to your life! Hi! I'm Lenda Lovell and I’m two years old. I was found hanging around a sandwich shop, hiding in the bushes with my kittens, hoping a kind person would leave food for me. This rarely happened so I was doing my best to survive until FFF came along and changed all that.

This indoor life thing is amazing! Now I get as much food as I want, a soft comfy bed and plenty of affection from my foster family. Now all I need is a forever family of my own! I'm a little shy at first, understandable considering I spent much of my life dodging cars and fending for myself. My foster mom says sometimes she forgets I'm here since I'm super quiet and will give you space if you need it. I love a good head scratch and will reward you with purrs.

I think the kid in my foster home is pretty nice, but I think he’s been around cats a lot. So maybe a kid like him in my forever home would be ok. I haven’t met dogs yet, so I’m still TBD on how that would go. I’m ok with other friendly felines too!

Meet Dorianna, a tiny girl with a giant heart. Though she is almost a fully grown adult, she weighs a mere five pounds. Dorianna was originally brought in through a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) project after living a tough life outside. For most older kittens who grew up without human interaction, adjusting to indoor life and socializing can be incredibly difficult, but Dorianna proved to be a beautiful exception.

When she first came inside, she was unsure, offering a mixture of nervous hisses and hopeful purrs. Within just three days, her fear completely melted away; the hissing stopped, and her purrs took over big time. Now, this super sweet girl actively begs for pets and loves affection. With her striking grey coat highlighted by a hint of dark grey stripes, she is as beautiful as she is loving.

Dorianna has made her wishes crystal clear: she is done with the outdoor life and is completely ready to live inside as a cherished family member. Five pounds of pure love, 0% interest in going back outside.

Cressida is orange, so everyone assumes she's a boy. Surprise! She's one of the semi-rare orange-and-white girls, since about 80% of orange cats are male.

This three-month-old came to FFF with a large abscess on her cheek that was growing fast - check out the pic we included. It was impressive to say the least. It's been treated, she's fully healed, and she's feeling so much better. Now she can focus on the important things in life: being a kitten.

Cressida is a little shy at first, but she melts once she's in your arms. She loves being held and will happily snuggle in for as long as you'll let her. She gets along well with other cats. She hasn't met kids or dogs yet, but a home with older kids and a cat-savvy dog would likely suit her best.
