Dr. Billings brings total hip replacement surgery experience and excitement to our clinic starting October 1st!

Dr. Blackford and her scrub nurse, Kelsey, went to a total hip replacement course this week to sharpen their skills on the procedure. They are also excited to be able to offer this service to our clients!

Effective June 1st, clients will be required to pay the $220 examination fee to schedule a consultation or consultation/surgery appointment. This fee will be fully refunded if the appointment is canceled at least 48 hours in advance. The fee will be forfeited in the event of a missed appointment without prior notice.

We apologize for the inconvenience this policy may cause, and we appreciate your understanding. This policy is to ensure timely attendance and allow us to offer canceled appointment times to patients in need. ❤️

She wants to remind everyone that there is NO such thing as too many tacos or nachos on a day like today! YUM!

She also wanted to remind everyone that sharing that type of food with your pet could cause an upset tummy, GI troubles, and pancreatitis! So just enjoy yourself and take a picture of your dog in a sombrero!

Let us take a moment to introduce MORGAN! Morgan has been with BVSR for two and a half years! She is our Veterinary Rehabilitation Assistant, and she is wonderful! During her time with us, she has worked along side LVMT and CCRP technicians and our doctors for hands on experiences and on the job learning.

Morgan works side by side with our doctors to come up with rehab ideas for our post surgical cases as well as challenging cases that get referred to our practice.

Morgan is so patient with all of her clients and patients. And she is so knowledgeable! Morgan is also great at helping clients understand what their homework is for rehab, and how their work at home can really compliment the patient's hard work in the hospital!

Morgan still has some spaces for the Summer Conditioning Package we advertised the other day! Please have your primary care vet send in a referral for "Rehab Conditioning" so we can verify that you pet is healthy for our program.

We can't wait to get started!

From coming for visits to meet the patients to attending the University of Tennessee Veterinary open house and learning to intubate, Dr. Callie’s daughter is growing up too quick. But my gosh, is it an adorable journey to watch unfold!

It’s so fun to see her eyes light up when she sees patients and gets an opportunity to show off her knowledge!

Stay tuned to continue to watch Blakelee continue to grow up within BVSR. 🥰

And don’t worry …. Dr. Callie has provided her with plenty of crafty toys like tool boxes and screws since she could even wiggle her fingers to play….so who knows! Maybe she’ll be a third generation! 😋

Gosh, it's really starting to heat up outside! Are you antsy to get your pup back out the hiking trails, jumping off the boat, swimming at the lake, and chasing their favorite ball??

Let us help you get your pup in better shape to help them PREVENT injury!

We are now offering under water treadmill session packages only for those of you that condition your kiddos at home, but you're missing that one piece of the puzzle to your canine fitness routine! Help your pup reach their fullest potential with our facility and resources!

A referral will be required from your primary care veterinarian before scheduling with underwater treadmill, conditioning packages, or rehab packages to help with recovery from surgery performed by another hospital. We need to know your pet doesn't have any underlying health issues! The veterinarian can submit a referral for "UWTM" or conditioning, and we'll call you to set up an appointment! We just want to make sure your pup is healthy enough to start becoming the best version of themselves!
