🐾 DAY CAMP IS REOPENING! 🐾

We are happy to announce that Cedar Bend Kennels Day Camp will officially reopen on Monday, August 31st! 🎉🐶

We truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we took this time to help protect all of our daycare friends and get things back under control.

If your dog has had any symptoms this week, this includes coughing, hacking, gagging, excessive throat clearing, or other signs of respiratory illness they will have to remain home this week also.

We know how much our pups love their time with their friends, and we want to keep Day Camp a safe and healthy place for everyone. ❤️🐾

Thank you for helping us protect all of our four-legged friends!

‼️‼️Important Daycamp Health & Safety Update‼️‼️

It is with extreme frustration and concern that we are once again dealing with a case of kennel cough within our Daycamp community.

Unfortunately, we are seeing instances where dogs are being exposed to this highly contagious respiratory illness outside of our facility and then bringing it into Daycamp, where it can quickly spread to their friends and playmates.

We understand how frustrating and inconvenient this is for everyone involved. It is especially unfair to the pets and families who take every precaution to protect their dogs, only to have them exposed through no fault of their own.

Out of an abundance of caution and to help protect the health and safety of all of our Daycamp guests, Daycamp will be CLOSED August 24th–28th.

This temporary closure will allow us to take additional precautions and help break the cycle of transmission before welcoming our Daycamp friends back.

During this time, we strongly encourage all pet owners to avoid public dog gatherings, including dog parks, doggie social events, other daycare facilities, boarding facilities, and similar group settings. Even when precautions are taken, dogs attending these environments may have been exposed to respiratory illnesses without their owners being aware.

Please remember that participation in public pet gatherings carries a risk of exposure—not only to your own pet, but potentially to other pets they come into contact with afterward.

We know this closure is an inconvenience, and we sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we put the health and well-being of our Daycamp family first.

The dogs have officially checked into their weekend vacation, and honestly… they’re living better than we are. 😂

They’ve got snacks, playtime, belly rubs, sleepovers, and absolutely ZERO responsibilities.

Meanwhile, their humans are somewhere wondering if they miss them.
