When a tumor or unusual tissue is discovered, knowing exactly what you're dealing with matters.

Biopsy and surgical samples can be evaluated by a board-certified pathologist to help determine the specific diagnosis. That information gives the veterinary team a clearer foundation for discussing treatment options and developing an individualized plan.

Cancer care begins with information, and pathology is an important piece of that puzzle.

A healthy-looking tooth doesn't always tell the whole story.

Dental X-rays allow our veterinary team to look beneath the gumline and evaluate tooth roots and surrounding jawbone, areas that can't be fully assessed by simply examining the visible crown.

These images can help guide treatment decisions, including whether an extraction or other oral procedure is needed.

Because sometimes the most important part of a tooth is the part you can't see. 🦷

Canine reproduction involves much more than choosing the right day.

Veterinary reproductive care can include semen evaluation and storage, progesterone testing, insemination, implantation, and pregnancy support. Each step requires careful timing and individualized veterinary guidance.

Whether you're planning a breeding program or need support during the reproductive process, specialized veterinary care can help you make informed decisions for your dogs.

Halloween decorations can be fun for us, but some of them aren't so fun for small pets.

Candy and wrappers, electrical cords, costume pieces, candles, and changes to their normal environment can create potential hazards for rabbits, ferrets, and other small mammals.

This Halloween, keep decorations, cords, food, and small objects away from your pet's enclosure. Give them a quiet, secure space where their routine can stay as normal as possible.

🎃 Safe décor. Calm surroundings. Happy pocket pets.

Rabbits, ferrets, and other pocket pets can be experts at hiding signs of illness, which means subtle changes can sometimes go unnoticed.

Routine wellness visits help establish important baselines for your pet, including weight, dental health, diet, behavior, and overall condition. Knowing what's normal for your pet makes it easier to recognize when something changes.

Small patients deserve big attention to preventive care. 🐰

Sometimes, the answers we're looking for are beneath the surface.

Color Doppler ultrasound allows our veterinary team to take a real-time look at structures such as the heart and abdominal organs, without exploratory surgery. Unlike X-rays, ultrasound can provide different types of information and help our team evaluate soft tissues and blood flow.

Every diagnostic tool answers different questions. The right one depends on what your pet needs.

When your pet isn't feeling their best, having answers can make a big difference. Our in-house laboratory supports bloodwork, urinalysis, organ testing, and disease screening, helping our veterinary team gather important information during the visit. Results can also be shared with specialists when additional expertise is needed.

The goal? More information to help build a clearer picture of your pet's health and determine the next step in their care.

September 28 is World Rabies Day, a reminder of how important rabies prevention is for pets and people alike.
Rabies is a serious and potentially fatal disease that can affect mammals, including our pets and wildlife.

Keeping your pet's rabies vaccination current is one of the most effective ways to help protect them and the people around them.

If you're unsure whether your pet's rabies vaccine is up to date, we're happy to help you check. 🐾

Sleeping more, becoming less social, having accidents in the house, seeming confused, or losing interest in favorite activities can sometimes be brushed off as normal aging.

But changes in behavior can also be an early sign of an underlying medical concern.

If you've noticed that your pet just isn't acting like themselves lately, don't automatically assume it's age. A wellness exam can help us determine what may be going on. 🐾
