Thank you God, for another dog saved- in a dangerous area of Boyds Creek Hwy in Sevierville TN. Thank you my Lucy Lu, I asked you to lead him to me and you did!
“Yoder” mistakenly in some posts listed as “Grayson”, was captured early this am around 2:30 ish. We were brought in to help with droning, signs and flyers, tracking, and trapping. He has been trapped and back with his original owner.
This beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog had been on the run since 08/18/2026 and yes, even hit by a car which we believe was a bump- because he was walking and surviving afterwards. The Entire Boyds Creek and Valley View Community were absolutely amazing! Shoutout to Krystal too- what a sweetheart she is, and with a broken foot- she was out there from the beginning and then I stepped in to help. Together, we found out through signs and flyers where he was nesting- and we set feeding stations and trap, and we got him!
Special shout out to Jenna for the ring cam footage- Thank you Mr. Jack, Mr. Steve, Miss Haley, and Miss Heidi and their spouses- you all showed such concern and put up with our shenanigans to capture this boy. Thank you so much! You helped save his life!
Yoder- you’re a sweet boy, who just was confused and lost- such a big hunk- Blessings to you and I am so grateful we got you in time.
I spent hours and overnight in truck watching cameras as he was nearing the feeding stations- unfortunately I also aggravated my lower back somehow taking traps down to the creek line. It’s painful but Im gonna manage somehow- and on to the next dog. Y’all say a lil prayer for me! Thanks- Im taking Sunday off for some rest and rejuvenate my body- strengthening and stretching- water therapy.
