Working on updates for both ‘Bear dogs’ and while I was looking for before pics of Ashley I came across a previous little video that had been posted and wanted to share again.
These littles make me smile/laugh 99% of the time , and drive me crazy the other 1%.

They all get on amazingly, mingle happily with the other animals and definitely keep me on my toes. It’s hard to explain to people what is like here but we are so looking forward to sharing with our supporters later this month at our ‘ thank you’ bbq.

We couldn’t do any of this without our amazing village. Every animal we’ve been able to help has been because of all of you! KARUNA is not just our rescue… it is our community’s

So Dr Sarah called… my dearest boy Wyley’s biopsy results came back….

NOT CANCER💕

I’ve been so worried about my guy, to me he is the heart of KARUNA .

Apparently it is a fibrous fatty lipoma… strange place on his jaw and if it starts to bother him or gets too large then we will get it removed. Feels like a huge weight lifted.

And as if I wasn’t feeling good enough coming home, this was my welcoming party.

It’s a good day !!

A huge thank you to Redwood Capital Bank for their donation towards new walls for our top barn.

After receiving a very generous donation earlier this year we got a brand new roof which was then installed by a wonderful crew from Danco…

Now we have funds to replace some of the walls💕

By winter it will be waterproof once again.

…. Maybe just in-time as I read its gonna be a very wet winter 🤦‍♀️

So many posts to catch up on. Everything has been so hectic so will work on catching up, in the meantime I wanted to update you on my special boy Wyley.

Yesterday didn’t go as I’d hoped. No foxtail found, no abscess. Dr Sarah took biopsies and sent them out. Now days of waiting and worrying.

This sweet gentle boy is the emotional support animal here for almost every new rescue that comes in. Calming and gentle…
