🐾❤️ **HELP US CELEBRATE OUR AMAZING VETERINARY ASSISTANTS!** ❤️🐾

**Veterinary Assistant Appreciation Week is almost here! October 11–17, 2026!** 🎉

At Kittrell Animal Hospital, we are getting ready to celebrate the hardworking individuals who help keep our hospital running every single day!

Our veterinary assistants are truly the backbone of our hospital. From comforting scared animals and assisting with treatments to cleaning up messes, juggling busy schedules, and showing compassion during some of the hardest moments, they give so much of themselves to our patients and their families. ❤️

As their Practice Manager, I want to make this week extra special for them! We all know appreciation should happen **365 days a year**, but there's something wonderful about setting aside a week to remind these individuals just how much they matter.

We have already had some AMAZING businesses step up to help us celebrate, and I cannot thank them enough! 🥹❤️

🐾 **Here's what our celebration week is looking like so far!**

❤️ **Monday, October 12:** OPEN — Looking for someone to help!

🥐 **Tuesday, October 13:**
- Breakfast sponsored by **BI**
- Lunch sponsored by **Covetrus**

🍽️ **Wednesday, October 14:**
- Lunch sponsored by **Jarrell's Lawn Care**

❤️ **Thursday, October 15:** OPEN — Looking for someone to help!

🍲 **Friday, October 16:**
- Staff Appreciation Potluck!

**We still have some openings, and I would LOVE to see our community come together to fill them!** 🥰

Whether you're a local business, one of our wonderful clients, or simply someone who wants to spread a little kindness, there are SO many ways to help!

🐾 Sponsor breakfast or lunch for our team.

🐾 Donate coffee, drinks, snacks, or sweet treats.

🐾 Contribute gift cards, flowers, or small appreciation gifts.

🐾 Donate items or services from your local business.

🐾 Write a heartfelt card or a few encouraging words thanking our assistants for what they do.

🐾 Help us put together little surprises to brighten their week!

**Please don't feel like you have to spend money to make a difference!** Sometimes the smallest gestures leave the biggest impressions. A simple handwritten thank-you card can turn someone's entire day around.

We may be a small hospital with a small team, but these individuals have HUGE hearts and carry an incredible amount of responsibility. They deserve to feel seen, valued, and appreciated.

To **BI, Covetrus, and Jarrell's Lawn Care**, THANK YOU for already stepping up to support our team! Your generosity means more than you know! ❤️

🐾 Help Us Celebrate Our Veterinary Assistants! 🐾

Veterinary Assistant Appreciation Week is coming up, and we would love the help of our amazing community in making our team at Kittrell Animal Hospital feel extra special! ❤️🐶🐱

We currently have 4 wonderful veterinary assistants who work incredibly hard behind the scenes every single day — and we are hoping to have 2 more part-time team members joining our Kittrell family by then!

Our assistants do SO much more than most people ever get to see. They comfort nervous pets, hold paws, assist our doctors, help with treatments, answer phones, clean up messes, care for hospitalized patients, help worried owners, and jump in wherever they are needed. Some days are happy, some days are exhausting, and some days are heartbreaking — but they continue to show up for our patients and our community. 🐾

We know appreciation shouldn’t be limited to just one week, but we would love to make this week an opportunity to remind them just how important they are.

🌟 We’re looking for individuals, families, and local businesses who would like to help us celebrate!

There are so many ways to participate, big or small. You could sponsor or provide lunch one day, send breakfast or sweet treats, donate gift cards or small goodies for appreciation bags, write encouraging cards or notes, send flowers, donate something from your business, or simply stop by with a kind message for our team.

It does not have to cost anything. A handwritten card telling our assistants that their hard work is noticed can mean more than you realize. ❤️

If you’re a local business and would like to sponsor a meal, donate an item, or partner with us for the week, we would absolutely love to recognize and thank you for supporting the people who care for our community’s pets.

We have a small team, and they carry a BIG responsibility. We want them to walk away from this week knowing that not only does Kittrell Animal Hospital appreciate them — our community does too.

🐾 Veterinary Technician Week: October 11–17, 2026 🐾

If you or your business would like to help us make the week special for our assistants, please reach out to Kittrell Animal Hospital. No gesture is too small.

Let’s fill their week with good food, kind words, little surprises, and most importantly, the reminder that the work they do matters. ❤️🐾

Please feel free to share this post and help us spread the word!
