💙 FOUR YEARS. 💙

Four years of waiting. Four years of watching people come and go. Four years of hoping that someday, someone would finally choose Maurice.

At 8 years old, this senior gentleman isn’t asking for much. He’s dreaming of a quiet, comfortable life where he can spend his days sunbathing, relaxing, and soaking up all the love he’s been waiting for. ☀️🐾

Maurice can be a little particular about boundaries with new people, so he needs someone who understands that trust takes time. But once Maurice knows you and feels comfortable with you, you’ll see his true personality shine through — he is an absolute LOVE. ❤️

After four years in the shelter, Maurice deserves more than another day waiting for his forever family.

He deserves a soft bed.
He deserves warm sunshine.
He deserves someone who will respect his boundaries.
And most of all… he deserves to finally go HOME. 🏡💙

🐾 Meet Luna — or as we like to call her, Luna Loony Toons! 🐾

This lovely lady is looking for something very important in her forever home: someone who understands her. ❤️

Luna is a wonderful mix of active and cuddly. She loves getting out, staying busy, and enjoying life, but when the day winds down, she is more than happy to curl up with her people and enjoy some quality cuddle time. 🥰

🐶 Dog Selective: Luna is selective about her canine friends and does not necessarily want every dog to be her buddy. She can also be kennel aggressive toward other dogs, so her new family will need to understand her needs and be willing to manage her environment appropriately.

The good news? Luna is learning! She has been working on walking past other dogs without reacting, and she is starting to get the hang of it! 🎉 She’s showing us that with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, she can continue to make progress.

🏡 Luna’s Ideal Home:

Luna needs an adopter who will see the dog she is, not the dog they expect her to be. Someone patient, understanding, and willing to continue working with her as she learns. Her ideal person will respect her boundaries, celebrate her progress, and give her the structure and guidance she needs to succeed.

And once she trusts you? We have a feeling Luna Loony Toons will be more than happy to become your favorite cuddle buddy. ❤️

She may need a little understanding, but this sweet girl has so much love to give.
