This artist Liang Renchuan, from Taiwan, lost his beloved dog, Hachiko. After 14 years together. ❤️ He created this memorial using driftwood they had collected during their many trips to the beach together—and even placed Hachiko’s real collar around it. 🥹🐾

What a beautiful way to turn pieces of their adventures together into a forever memory. 🌈❤️

Every afternoon, a little dog sat at the top of the stairs waiting.

It didn’t matter if mommy or daddy had been gone ten minutes or ten hours. The moment she heard the familiar sound outside, she could barely contain herself.

To everyone else, it was just someone coming home.

To her, her whole world had returned.

Dogs remind us that love and happiness doesn’t have to be complicated

Maybe today, we could all love a little more like a dog.

Right now, the law considers our pets property like a couch or a car here in Washington state.
But we know they’re family. 🐾

We’re working to change that with Tiffy’s Bill, legislation we hope will become Tiffy’s Law. 🩵

Some traditions don’t end when they leave us. 🩷🐾 Every week, Tiffy and I had our little tradition…. We would paint our “claws” Tiffy pink. And I still do it. Because love doesn’t disappear when someone you love goes to Heaven. It just finds new ways to stay. 🌈🐾🩷
