Good Morning friends! I snapped this at the park yesterday. We have never seen the creek bed this low before.

❓️Are you experiencing a drought in your area?

🍂The leaves needed more water to turn vibrant colors, and its just won't happen this year. If you have any pretty fall colors in your landscape- feel free to share them below!! I love nature pics!

✨️ One of my favorite things about owning peafowl is the happy dance! They do not act like this if they are sick, hurting, or unhappy! So getting a triple threat last night, that included one of the 🆕️ babies doing a happy dance...JUST made me smile! 😁

This is my reason... my reward for putting in the work... cleaning cages, keeping fresh water, and all the back breaking in betweens. Its all worth it to see... the happy dance from my birds!

Its that time of day where supper is soon, and the prep tends to begin in our house. Last night was cheddar broccoli chicken casserole- and it did not disappoint! 😋 (link to recipe here:

✨️I definitely asked for leftovers tonight, so I may need to skip our dinner talk tomorrow 😉

❓️What are you guys creating this evening?

I think its safe to say Kung Fu and Judo are very curious of each other! Thrilled the introductions are going well so far! He cries the second any of the big birds walk away.

The other 3 were to busy preening themselves in the sun to be bothered with the Kung Fu and Judo business! 🤣

🌞 Good Sunday Morning Pea-friends! I have been saying I was going to clean the leaves out of, and pin up the netting by Sir Lancelot and Faye since I put it up! I just hadn't had time to make it a priority.

😊 Happy to report- I got it done yesterday! Here is a before and after- It is so nice being able to see those 2 on their perch- without a matted mess of netting & leaves!
