Separate areas for large and small dogs and open grassy space create a relaxed place to spend time outdoors together. NEW HOURS: 8 am to ½ hour past sunset

Lake Metroparks' Canine Meadow Dog Park is a place for dogs to socialize, exercise and play off-leash in a controlled environment under the supervision of their owners. This park has a large dog area (2.57 acres), a swim area (1.84 acres) and

a small dog area (1.02 acres). Access to the swim area is by way of the large dog area only. Fencing is five feet high. Please help us be good neighbors to the surrounding community by visiting only during park hours and keeping dogs from barking excessively early in the morning.

NOTICE: Fence line vegetation control is scheduled later this week at Canine Meadow Dog Park. Areas will be closed during a 4-hour treatment window and will reopen once that period is complete:

🐕 Small dog area — closed Thursday, June 4 from 8 am – noon
🐩 Large dog area & pond — closed Friday, June 5 from 8 am – noon

It’s the perfect day for pups to cool off in the pond here at Canine Meadow Dog Park—big splashes, wet paws and nonstop tail wags included. Let the season of splash zoomies begin! 💦

As a reminder, the pond is tested and treated for bacteria regularly to ensure the water is safe for pets.
