Noble Hill Rescue, Inc. We are always looking for forever homes for our adoptable horses. Nice horses are available for all levels of experience.

We also have many horses who will find sanctuary here. Love horses but don't have time or space for them-consider sponsoring one! Most of the horses have had a career of being on the road, however we have Saddlebreds, Standardbreds, Quarter horses, Morgans, and Thoroughbreds (and sometimes Haflingers). All the horses are sweet, gentle animals without vices like kicking or biting. Some are well trained and some need some training. Most make great horses for kids that can ride or older folks that still want to!

Our wonderful local feed store, Oxford Feed & Lumber, is running a special price for the rescue of our much used Purina Impact Hay Stretcher https://oxfordfeedlumber.com/p/pur-impact-hay-stretcher-804273051727
So now is a great time to donate a bag (or more) to Noble Hill Rescue's account! Hay Stretcher is an important part of many of our horses' diets because there are many elders with poor teeth who can't eat hay.

Savvy is a retired buggy horse who has yet to be evaluated for riding. The trainer only had time to saddle him, which didn't faze Savvy at all as he's a laidback, easy to handle, friendly guy!

Sanctuary Spotlight: Chief, AKA “Big Guy”

Truly a gentle giant, Chief the Belgian Draft came to Noble Hill in 2021. While his former owner let him, he has since gained back all the weight (and maybe then some 😉) and recovered most of the nerve function in his face! Due to some health reasons Chief is given free access to roam the barn at times, which he loves because more people give him treats and he can let his complaints about the speed of service be known! When he’s out in the field, he has a solid group of buddies that make up an oddball collection of sizes, colors, and patterns
