In emergency veterinary medicine, no two days are the same. Through the chaos, the long hours, the emotional moments, and the victories, our vet techs show up with skill, compassion, and unwavering dedication.

They are the steady hands behind critical care, the comfort our patients need, and the support families and teammates rely on. So much of what they do happens behind the scenes, but the difference they make is felt in every patient we care for.

To our veterinary technicians: we see how much you give, and we are so grateful for all that you do. Thank you for being the heart of our team and for helping us care for pets when they need us most. 💙❤

Pets are curious, but sometimes that curiosity leads them to swallow something they shouldn’t. Foreign objects can cause serious harm to your pet’s digestive tract. 🐾

⚠️ If something seems off, don’t wait for symptoms to become severe. Contact an emergency vet if you suspect your pet has swallowed something they shouldn’t!

🐰✨Meet Hermes!✨🐰

Hermes is a 1.5-year-old male Lionhead mix rabbit who visits our O'Fallon Emergency Clinic regularly for dental care! 🦷💙

His journey began when his owner noticed he wasn’t eating as well as usual and started avoiding his hay. After discovering he needed some extra dental care, Hermes began coming in for routine dental treatments.

Now, Hermes visits there about every three months to keep his teeth nice and level, helping him comfortably chew, grind his hay, and enjoy his meals! 🌾🐇

Regular dental care is an important part of keeping our bunny friends happy and healthy. We’re so happy to help Hermes stay comfortable and keep hopping along! 💕
