🎉 Welcome to the next generation of veterinary medicine! 🩺🐾

Since launching our Rotating Internship Program in 2015, BluePearl Kirkland has proudly trained 60 rotating interns. Of those, 29 have gone on to pursue specialty internships or residency programs across disciplines including surgery, emergency and critical care, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, radiology, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, clinical pathology, exotics, wildlife medicine, and rehabilitation.

Many others have built successful clinical careers, with 17 becoming emergency or urgent care veterinarians and 17 choosing general practice, where they continue providing exceptional care to pets and their families.

Watching these doctors grow from new graduates into confident clinicians and future specialists is one of the greatest privileges of our hospital. Their success reflects the dedication of countless mentors, technicians, specialists, and support staff who invest in their journey every day.
We are thrilled to welcome our 2026–2027 Rotating Intern Class, which began on June 15! We couldn’t be more excited to have this exceptional group join the BluePearl Kirkland Team.

Today, the BluePearl Pet Hospital Kirkland and Tukwila team is proud to be part of one of the largest Pride celebrations in the country at Seattle PrideFest! 🌈✨

With hundreds of thousands of people coming together to celebrate love, inclusion, and community, there truly isn’t a better place to spend the day. We love connecting with our community, sharing what BluePearl has to offer, and meeting so many incredible people. In an emergency veterinary hospital, our Client Services team is often the very first and last interaction our clients have—and they handle it all with compassion, patience, and strength. From emotional moments to fast-paced emergencies, they are the steady, caring presence our clients and patients rely on.
