💞”Do Your Homework”💞

Homer as we affectionately call him, is an 8 year old unraced 16’3 hand TB gelding with beautiful sweeping gaits. Currently being ridden by a junior rider and a part of my lesson program. He is big, safe, and pretty! Homer would love to start a career in the hunter ring or could make a super eventer or jumper. He has started over crossrails and small verticals. He gives a great, confident feel. Developed correctly, he is going to make a spectacular jumping partner! Unfortunately, he does not want to do strictly dressage. He is competent in lower level movements and will provide great gaits for a soft ride. He is broke and ready to start a new career!

Quinn is a lovely 16’2 liver chestnut Oldenburg gelding with three beautifully balanced FEI quality gaits. He is a very personable guy who is looking for forever person. Due to life circumstances, Quinn has had a slower start and is currently schooling Training and First level. He is best suited for an ambitious and experienced rider in a program due to his athleticism. Quinn would also make a great candidate for a young professional to bring up the levels. ISO: Barn Help/Managing Position at a private Dressage barn in Kirkland, IL. Looking for someone with experience in horse care, attention to detail, self-motivated, knowledgeable, and who possesses a genuine love for horses and their care. Offering 20 hours a week Monday through Friday afternoons 1 pm to 5 pm. Currently Sundays would be twice a month 8 am to 12 pm. During the week duties include, but not limited to: bringing in horses, feeding, sweeping, watering the indoor arena, taking off blankets, filling buckets, general tidying, and monitoring of horses, etc. Sundays will include cleaning and bedding stalls and turnout. Must have a reliable car, live within a reasonable distance, and have the ability to work in outdoor conditions. References are a plus. Potential opportunity for exercising a few horses given experience. Please PM for more information 😊
