Hurry. Only one good dog left in stock in Aisle 2 Bay 5. 🔧
I dropped off my van for service this morning only to be told that they hadn't ordered the part even though I scheduled this appointment months ago (and was told that they ordered the part four weeks ago when I checked in to confirm). So I had to pay to pre-order the part and reschedule the service appointment. I had been planning to walk back to my house with Lupin after dropping off the van, but instead we stopped by Home Depot so he could say hi to the employees at checkout.

Sometimes the shorter dogs get to be tallest for picture time. Plus it keeps Maple from pawing in the dirt for goodies 🤪...

Happy to see new pack member Cocoa fitting in well with a large group this morning and making good eye contact with the picture time treat dispenser (me 🤪). Maggie is watching cyclists and some of the others are distracted by little birds flying low over the ground around us. 🐾

My last vacation was four years ago over Memorial Day weekend. I booked a 3-day charter fishing trip in Sitka, Alaska with my dad through Wild Strawberry Lodge. I scheduled the trip to occur right after I resigned from my engineering job and right before the official start of business for A Pack Above LLC. I wish I could say that we both had a magnificent time fishing, but we both got so seasick the first day that we decided to skip the second day of fishing. I had a better time the third day after loading up on multiple motion sickness drugs but my dad was still sick the whole time. My favorite part of the trip was probably the little yellow bird that perched on my pole for five minutes when we were miles out in the ocean. 🐥
In dog news for the day, both packs enjoyed some shady sniffaris and Cocoa has graduated from new pup orientation 🐾

This was my favorite question of the day. I wouldn't call it a passerby comment because it was from a cyclist resting in the shade by the trash can that I stopped at. Sometimes two dogs will have a synchronous poo, but it has only happened once with three dogs, so for the most part the dogs really like to spread out the enjoyment 😆

It's rare that I get a comment or question I haven't heard before. Apparently I look like a rock climber when I'm wearing my hiking f***y pack draped with slip leads, because someone asked me if there was a good place for climbing at the park when I was about to leash up the afternoon group 🧗‍♀️I had to clarify that the ropes were just dog leashes 😆

It's raining Halo floof, hallelujah it's raining Halo floof ❄️ Parts of the walk this morning looked like Halo just had a blowout and all of her floof was blowing around on the ground.
The Tuesday afternoon group is now the oodles of doodles pack.
