Someone made a comment that show dogs are unhappy, neglected, left in kennels 24/7, and forced to go into the show ring. These are my unhappy and horribly treated show dogs.

A dog leaves a hole in your heart when they pass, so that it can be filled with the love from another dog needing love.

What a brave little dog. Bless her heart. ❤️ 💔 Prayers for her family.

Cassie was never trained to protect anyone. She was simply a family dog - until the moment her owners needed her most.

On September 19, Jeff and Mallory Wilson were attacked by a bear in Northern California.
During the terrifying encounter, their 7-year-old French bulldog, Cassie, stepped in to defend them.
The small dog faced a much larger threat and suffered fatal injuries while protecting her owners.
Jeff and Mallory were also injured during the attack but survived.
After losing Cassie, Mallory remembered her not as a guard dog, but as a loving companion who showed incredible courage.
“Cassie was never meant to be a guard dog,” she said while honoring the dog who saved them.

Cassie’s story became a reminder that sometimes the strongest acts of bravery come from the smallest heroes.

She was a pet.
She was family.
And when danger arrived, she protected the people she loved.

LOVE this kind of math!!

People keep asking breeders, “How many dogs do you have?”

That is a complicated question requiring a calculator, a calendar, and possibly legal counsel.

First of all, anything under six months old is a puppy. Puppies don’t count. That’s just common sense.

The one staying until I decide if she’s show quality? She’s under evaluation. Doesn’t count.

The one I co-own? Half a dog, at most.

The old girl on the couch? She’s retired. You wouldn’t count your grandma as one of the kids living at home, would you?

The one that came back to me? Temporary guest.

And the dog my husband claims is his? Well, you’ll have to ask him about that one.

So when I say I have seven dogs, please don’t stand in my kitchen pointing at twelve heads. Some of them are puppies, some are guests, and one of them belongs to Steven.

Breeder math is perfectly accurate. You’re just counting wrong. 😂
