Jesus said, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.”
— John 7:37

So open your Bible.

Come thirsty.

And let the Word of God satisfy what nothing else can.

The other day, for about 30 seconds, I couldn’t find my daughter.

I had walked out of the barn and came right back in. She had been right behind me. But when I turned around, she was gone.

My heart immediately sank.

Lo and behold, she had simply walked around the other side of the trailer I was standing beside.

But those few seconds made me think about the heart of our Heavenly Father.

What does God feel when one of His children is lost?

He doesn’t shrug His shoulders and say, “Oh well.”

He searches.
He waits.
He calls.
And when His child comes home, He rejoices, brings them into his arms and cries happy tears.

Jesus said:

“For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.” — Luke 15:24

And again:

“Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.” — Luke 15:6

If you’ve wandered from God, hear this: He hasn’t stopped loving you.

The Father is not standing at the door waiting to shame you for leaving.

He is waiting for you to come home.

And when you do, heaven rejoices. ❤️

This mare has only had about 90 days of training. Prior to that she had been ridden by a non pro for her 2 year old year. TWO WEEKS AGO she didn’t have a lead change!
She has never been schooled or to a show even.
It was insane to try to show her. But given the circumstances, I couldn’t be happier with how she did!

We had the absolute best time at the KRHA futurity this weekend!

A couple of bobbles kept us out of the money in the futurity. But neither of these three-year-olds were supposed to go this weekend. I am beyond excited for the future of these 2 three-year-olds!

Magnum’s lil Missy had a great ride in the open class and the novice Horse class.

All in all what a great weekend!
