Honeycomb is true to his name and sweet as honey! Despite being starving, skinny and clearly neglected for some time, he is the most loving man! He weighs about 20 lbs, but his age is a little harder to estimate given his poor diet and malnutrition.  Age estimation at a shelter is done by looking at the teeth and body development. Unfortunately, growth and development can be stunted with serious malnutrition and a poor diet can cause significant where and tear on teeth as well as plaque and tartar buildup. We are estimating that he is a fully grown puppy, about 10 months to a year old, however we will get a better idea when he goes to the vet to be neutered. He has done very well with other dogs, needs a slow feeder because he is overzealous about his food and will make a perfect companion! Come meet him tomorrow!

Thanks to all the generous support we've gotten this week we were able to give the dogs an extra sweet way to cool off today. We had a (puppy safe) ice cream party for them!!

Not available for adoption, rescue only! These three puppies have just been surrendered to us and they have had a rough start. As you watch the video you can see they are absolutely covered in fleas and have awful intestinal parasites. They have been treated for fleas and are getting their first round of dewormer as we speak.

This is Riley and she is perfect! Riley is 2 years old, weighs about 30 lbs and spreads nothing but sunshine everywhere she goes! Riley loves other dogs, loves all humans and is the perfect size! She would fit in to nearly any family! Available for Adoption or Rescue by 501 C3 Rescue.
