This is called a Horse Saver — and it is exactly what it sounds like. 😂
It gives our students a way to practice mounting, dismounting, youth rodeo skills, everyday riding balance, intro to roping, and even goat tying basics without putting extra torque on the horses’ backs or adding unnecessary miles to them.
It’s another way we’re building a learning barn where students can practice safely, build confidence, and understand the “why” behind what they’re doing.
A huge thank you to one of our barn dads for donating this to Riding on Grace — we appreciate it so much!
And yes… this is also me sacrificing my own children first to make sure it’s safe for yours. 😂
