Pretty & Gritty Working Dogs The Cadillac of working dogs. We like them to be gritty and they just happen to be pretty. We use them to work sheep and cattle. They have style, eye, and bite.

Its like being book smart and having common sense, it just makes life easier.

WHO NEEDS RULES?

I have been retraining myself over the last year to ask why and really asking it even more since we moved recently. Why is this a rule or why not? So I threw out all the rules and said as long as they don't kill my chickens to just observe and ask why before just demanding something.

Grizz is coming along nicely, which I think he would do even better if I didn't put so much pressure for him to act a certain way and allow him to do or not do something his way as long as we can work as a team.
He has a big personality and very bubbly which is entertaining and fun for obedience training but it's really nice to see him focus and be a little more serious!
Sometimes less is more.

Dice man tries to be camera shy but is a natural with some name cheering and will even give you a smile! 😁💕 He loves going in the pick up for a ride, so if I can't find him I know just where to look 98% of the time.

Frannie is our calm but wild one. Always ready for a job, always wants to please, quick as a whip and knows her job probably better than me. Can work chickens, goats, sheep, and cattle. She has taught us sooo much and we are grateful for her fun and entertaining personality and helping build us to be where we are today.

Hank man joined us on our adventures to town and did a walk through a car/everything you can imagine auction. He surpassed my expectations and was a certified gentlemen! Took everything in stride, happy to see the sights and smell all the things especially food.

Salt is such a fun tenacious dog. Shes pretty quick which is nice but gets a little to fidgety when pushing up close so have been working on slowing down and staying balanced and not getting to close. Progress looks a little different for every dog. She is doing so much better!
Salt is the mom to Grizz and Roxy. Definitely a resemblance in the way they work as far as speed and wanting to please! 🥰
