Meet Maggie—and prepare to have your heart completely stolen! 🌟

Maggie joined our Tender Touch family in 2022 and has been bringing her infectious energy, her enormous heart, and her impressive 4.0 GPA with her every single day. A proud alumna of the National FFA Organization with a fierce love for all animals—especially chickens and felines—Maggie is genuinely one of a kind! 🐔🐱

Currently pursuing her Licensed Veterinary Technician degree, Maggie approaches everything she does with the same quiet excellence that makes our entire team better just by being around her.

What Maggie loves most about working at Tender Touch:

Meet Kristine—a true animal lover whose connection to animals began long before she ever walked through our doors!

Kristine joined our Tender Touch family in 2021 and has been an incredible asset ever since. Her love for animals began at an early age—she was active in 4-H and competed in barrel racing and various rodeo events, developing a deep respect and lifelong bond with animals of all kinds. 🐴

Currently pursuing her Licensed Veterinary Technician degree, Kristine brings passion, dedication, and a genuine love for surgery to everything she does!

What Kristine loves most about working at Tender Touch:
“The atmosphere—it’s not just a job, it’s a big part of my life. Getting to see animals every day and care for them as they get better is something I am truly grateful for.”

Meet Michaela—one of our incredible Veterinary Assistants and honestly? We are pretty convinced she has a gift that can’t be taught! 🌟

Michaela is currently pursuing her Licensed Veterinary Technician degree with nearly a perfect academic score and is more than halfway to the finish line. But her greatest superpower isn’t found in any textbook—it’s the extraordinary calm and peace she brings to every single patient she works with.

What Michaela loves about working at Tender Touch:
“Having a great team to work with, confide in, and depend on. This compatibility is what allows us to bring the absolute best care possible to our patients.”

Meet Paul—kennel attendant, animal whisperer, wildlife volunteer, and former filmmaker. Yes, you read that right! 🎬🦅

Paul joined our Tender Touch family in 2025 bringing a background that is genuinely unlike anyone else on our team. Before finding his place in veterinary care, Paul was behind the camera as a filmmaker—and we like to think that artistic eye is exactly why he sees every animal so clearly and treats each one as the individual they are! 🎥

What makes Paul exceptional:
🦝 Volunteers with wildlife rescue— opossums, eagles, badgers, you name it!
🎬 Former filmmaker—the most uniquely talented kennel attendant in Kitsap County
🌿 A naturally calm, peaceful presence that even the most anxious animals respond to

Meet Tammy—a true Pacific Northwest native and one of the most experienced members of our Tender Touch family!

Tammy has been with us since 2020 and brings an incredible 20+ years of veterinary experience to our team—plus a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science that gives her a depth of knowledge that shines every single day! 🎓

What makes Tammy exceptional:
🦷 A genuine passion for dental health—she LOVES helping pets get relief from dental pain
