Fireworks, a wonderful part of a 4th of July celebration, can be dangerous to horses, dogs, and veterans. A friend commented recently that military, police, and mounted shooting horses can be desensitized to these stimuli making it safer for them during holiday celebrations. If anyone is interested in training/lessons to work with their horse concerning this issue, please contact Steve!

*Note: if there is interest in a clinic surrounding desensitizing/sacking out, do let me know and we'll see if something can be scheduled!

It's about time to leg up for show season or get ready for those trails! Here Amanda is practicing some bends in a lesson with Steve. Though she's still learning, her hands are nice and supple here and her mare is happy to oblige! If you're looking to learn soft cues, Steve is an excellent teacher.

Lessons are available from beginner to advanced. Also, give Steve a call if you'd be interested in hosting a clinic!
