🐾 WE'RE HIRING! EXPERIENCED CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN (CVT) 🐾
📍 Mitchell Animal Hospital | Kingston, NH
💰 $23–$30/hour, based on experience
🐾 Full-Time | 3+ Years Experience Preferred
🦷 Love dentistry? Enjoy surgery? Like the variety of appointments? Have excellent client communication skills and a knack for keeping things running smoothly? We'd love to meet you!
We're a busy, independently owned, multi-doctor veterinary hospital looking for an experienced CVT who is confident in their skills, takes initiative, and enjoys working with a team that works hard, supports each other, and has fun along the way!
🐾 What We're Looking For:
🦷 Dentistry & Surgery: Strong dental, surgical, and anesthesia skills, including dental radiographs, patient monitoring, and recovery.
🩺 Appointments & Client Communication: Confident with outpatient care, client education, explaining treatment recommendations, building client relationships, and handling difficult conversations with compassion and professionalism.
⏰ Organization & Initiative: Someone who can prioritize, anticipate needs, manage their time, and recognize what needs to be done without constant direction.
🎓 Mentorship: Enjoys sharing knowledge, training newer employees, and helping others build confidence.
😊 Positive Attitude & Adaptability: Can think on their feet, roll with unexpected changes, and focus on solutions rather than problems.
💙 A Little About Our Team...
We're a mix of Type A, color-coded, checklist-loving organizers and squirrel-brained, distracted-by-shiny-objects, juggling-15-things-at-once multitaskers! 😂🐿️
Is it organized chaos sometimes? Absolutely! But we take patient care seriously, support one another, share plenty of laughs, and always find a way to make it work!
We don't expect perfection. We value communication, accountability, good judgment, and people who are willing to learn and help others grow.
🐱 BONUS PERK: KITTENS!
We have a kitty rescue, so there's often a tiny foster kitten (or a few!) available for some much-needed snuggles! 🐾💕
Fair warning: You may come here looking for a job and end up adopting a kitten or two along the way! 😂🐱💕
