Happiest of Birthdays to 2 absolute rockstars! Lauren and Steph, we wish you the happiest of days today!

If you have noticed our FB page was a little slower this week, Steph has been on vacation celelbrating her….. 29th birthday(?!)!! So we have not been able to shower her with love and attention, so please send her some good birthday vibes! Steph is the power behind kitty rescue, can run rooms like a machine and keeps Dr. Curry in line.

Lauren run the front desk, does all our ordering, bills, paperwork- the list is endless and we cannot live without her. She has a huge smile and heart for everyone.

THE WOMAN BEHIND THE MAH KEYBOARD HAS ESCAPED.

It’s me. Hi.

BriBri and I are on vacation until September 9th, which means MAH is temporarily losing its Adoption/Rescue Coordinator, Facebook nonsense department, and one tiny supervisor with absolutely no qualifications.

MAH IS OPEN.

Rescue emails and applications can still be sent. I will simply be unavailable to stare at them, overthink them, answer them at ridiculous hours, and somehow adopt out six cats before lunch.

As for Facebook and IG…

I fully intend to leave it alone.

That sentence was hilarious even to type.

I have a phone, WiFi, and the impulse control of a raccoon in a dumpster, so really anything could happen.

They hear a cheese wrapper from another ZIP code, go legally deaf when you say “come,” and arrive at MAH acting like we personally ruined their childhood.

🤖📞 UMMMM… MAH HAS A ROBOT NOW.

Well… for ONE WEEK anyway.

We’re testing a new after-hours AI phone assistant, and Bri Bri has already appointed herself supervisor.

Call after hours, leave a message, and our new little robot is supposed to figure out which one of us at MAH needs to deal with it.

So naturally… WE NEED YOU GUYS TO TEST IT.

Ask a real pet question. Ask a ridiculous one. Tell it what your dog ate THIS time. Explain why your cat is plotting your death. Put it to work.

Then PLEASE email us and tell us what you thought! Easy? Annoying? Better than the old phone tree? Did you completely confuse it?[email protected]

We just met the robot too, so there may be a few hiccups but do NOT go easy on it.We want to know what this thing can actually handle. 🤖🐾

🧡 FIP PICKED THE WRONG ORANGE GIRL. 🧡

Well… our little orange medical mystery has decided she has places to be, snacks to eat and people to keep completely stressed out.

Tina is RESPONDING to her FIP treatment. 🧡

She still has 12 more weeks to go, but this is exactly the news we have been praying for.

Here she is with Stephanie our Adoption/Rescue Coordinator , who is also her medical foster, nurse, Uber driver, snack dealer and the woman who has aged approximately 14 years since Tina moved in.

Tina, meanwhile, remains completely unbothered by the chaos she has created.

Thank you to everyone who has loved this little girl right along with us. Please keep those prayers coming. 🧡

Keep fighting, Miss Tina. You’ve got a whole village behind you. 🧡
