With temps hitting 86° today, safety always comes first for our pups! 🐾 On warmer days like this, outdoor walks may be cut short to help prevent overheating, burnt paw pads, and overexertion. Any shortened walk time will be replaced with indoor playtime, enrichment, cuddles, and cooling off inside

Happy Sunday! Warmer temps are rolling in the next few days, which means hot pavement season is here! Even when the air feels comfortable, asphalt can become hot enough to burn paws quickly. Before walks, try the 7-second hand test: place the back of your hand on the pavement — if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them!

Early morning and evening walks, grassy routes, and lots of water are your pup’s best friends this week 💛🐾
