I can't believe I missed National "Love your pet day"!!

Better late than never, I suppose!

Couldn't resist the opportunity to share my current 3 loves! I've had a variety of pets during my life from mice to a beagle but I currently have 3 orange kitties!

These boys are all named after food.

Cookie is the chunky man, the guard dog of the house who you'll often find bathing in the sunshine or begging to go outside.

Cheeto is the skinny one with the stomach of a goat... desiring to eat things he shouldn't. He's a sweet teddy bear & happens to be my mom's favorite.

Potato's full name is "Fluffy Potato Cat" in reference to the game Exploding kittens. When he was just 2 weeks old, you could hold him in the palm of your hand and when curled up he looked just like a hairy russet potato. He's the fluffy, majestic one who is most cat-like in his demeanors.

They bring so much chaos and life the house.

Hi, I’m Calie.

I started pet sitting when I was just nine years old as part of a homeschool project. I was never someone who thrived sitting still with workbooks all day, so my mom told me if I wasn’t going to sit at a desk, I needed to learn how to work. So I did.

What started as a small project slowly grew into years of caring for homes and animals. Over time I built structure, learned how to communicate clearly, handle responsibility, market myself, and most importantly, honor the trust people place in me.

Since that homeschool project 8 years ago, I’ve cared for everything from dogs and cats to farm animals (Horses, chickens, ducks, goats) and small pets (rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, lizards, snakes). Every home is unique. Every animal matters.

About eight months ago I moved to Tennessee and had to start from scratch. Starting over has reminded me how much I value building genuine connections with the people around me. I do not see this as just a transaction. Being in someone’s home and caring for what they love carries weight, and I take that seriously.
My goal is simple. Communicate well. Follow routines carefully. and most importantly, give the care to the things you love when you can't.

This photo is one of the animals I've had the privilege to know and love. It reminds me where this all began and how much I’ve grown since then.

If you’re nearby and looking for someone who will treat your home and animals with consistency and respect, I’d love to connect.
