Jax & Richie. Rough day yesterday for the dynamic duo, they got into a scuffle that was difficult to break up, they spent the day segregated and now they’re acting like nothing happened…

Hello everyone, we are getting close to being ready for a kennel, here is what we are working towards - a 12 bay kennel, purpose built just for them. There will be multiple pastures for them to safely roam on the 6+ acre ranch. Please let’s fire up those PayPal links and help us get 12 more off the streets before the hard weather comes.

Good afternoon, with winter coming we are pushing hard to get a kennel deployed. I see so many posts about the dogs, and other animals being dumped. We are looking at a prebuilt 12 dog kennel to try and get in place.
I see a lot of posts about how somebody should do something, now’s your chance to step up for the ones who cant step up for themselves.
Please Donate today, as much as you can spare and we can get the next 12 off the streets!

Yes- someone should take that dog away to a good home dogs are social beings.

When the same dog is reported again and again for being left outside in harsh winter conditions, people naturally expect someone in authority to at least investigate.

Animal control officers can face limited staffing, legal restrictions, and difficult evidence requirements, but repeated complaints about the same animal should not simply disappear into a system.

If warning signs are documented for years and serious harm eventually happens, the public will understandably ask whether earlier action could have prevented it.

Should animal control agencies face stronger oversight when repeated reports about an animal appear to go unanswered?

A seven-year-old, 80-pound pit bull named Athena reportedly helped save her owner during a terrifying attack at their Minnesota home.

Maria Grant said a man she knew, who had previously walked her dog, knocked on her door and immediately struck her in the head with a hammer. She said he repeatedly hit her before attempting to go upstairs, where her children were sleeping.

Grant fought to stop him, and Athena then attacked, biting the man's legs and giving Grant the opportunity to escape.

The man was charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon after arriving at a hospital with bite wounds from Athena. He was released about 36 hours later, although the report does not explain why. An active warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest.
