August: “I’ll get back to you.”

September: “Our schedule is crazy.”

October: “I don’t want to book that far ahead.”

November 20th:

“HEYYYY! Any chance you can squeeze Fluffy in before Thanksgiving? 🥰”

No. ❤️

Thanksgiving did not sneak up on you.

Then December:

“Anything before Christmas?”

Absolutely.

December 47th at 3:15 AM. 😂

“But we’ve been coming to you for YEARS!”

Exactly.

So you’ve personally experienced Christmas before.

“I only need a quick groom!”

Perfect. I’ll hit the QUICK GROOM BUTTON we’ve apparently been hiding.

“Can’t you squeeze him in somewhere?”

WHERE?!

THE GLOVE BOX?! 😭

The holidays come at the same time every year.

Your groomer didn’t suddenly become booked.

Everybody else booked before you did.

PREBOOK. THE. DOG. 🎄😂

As of September 1st 2026 there will be a $5 increase. I try not to do this often however sometimes it is needed especially now with the prices of literally everything going up. Thank you all for your support ❤❤❤

Some groom for the money. Others groom from the heart, and the money follows the passion.

After 20+ years, I’ve learned that the hardest part of this profession isn’t the grooming. It’s the last appointment.

When a client says, “This will probably be his last groom,” everything changes.

You realize that for years you weren’t just grooming a dog. You were part of that dog’s life. You watched them grow old, earned their trust, and shared their journey with their family.

That’s why I believe every dog we groom becomes a little bit ours too.

Not because we own them, but because we made a promise to help give them the best life possible.

And saying goodbye never gets easier.

Thank you all for understanding, some things only the lord is in control of. We will still be closed tomorrow hopefully Tuesday I will be back in the shop just send lots of prayers for my family. Thank you all for patience and understanding ❤❤
